What i love about this episode is that regardless of what happened between tjem back them regina put all that behind them an was more of a mother/friend to me /snow than she ever has before... And the simple fact that they have that family bond that no matter they are there for each other regina put her life on the line just to help the charmings protect emma says alot about Regina's love /motherly love for them both

Actually kids shouldn’t be making choices. And at the time Emma was her daughter and when your a parent and it’s your unborn child you’ll do anything to keep them good. Either on accident or on purpose.

@@pyro4206 Well, I mean. Yes and no. Hear me out. The best thing you can do is to help better prepare the child before they grow up, such as teaching them to have their own moral compass, how to have empathy, how to have boundaries. They need to have some sort of freedom in their lives. Of course, you can do a mix of regulation, but not to a point that it's comparable to having a camera in their room for example. Also, parents tend to forget that they were once teens and kids too.

I agree that Snow and David were not making the right decision by taking their daughter's fate into their own hands and especially not telling her later. But considering that Emma's fate involving the curse, with all the people who depended on Emma to one day save them, it wasn't a risk that they could have taken. Snow and Charming are in the wrong. Yet when their entire kingdom was at stake, it makes sense to me that Emma's parents would try to go to such lengths even when they realized that it was morally wrong.

The hilarious irony is that they did this terrible thing.....they kidnapped Maleficent's unborn daughter and they told the Apprentice to use the child as the vessel to hold all of Emma's POTENTIAL darkness. And Emma still became the Dark One. Yes, she became the Dark One so Regina wouldn't have to and she could have her happy ending with Robin Hood and it was a noble sacrifice, but while she was the Dark One, she broke her son's heart, she turned Hook into the Dark One, she betrayed her family, she almost killed Merida. And when she is asked to let go of the Darkness, she can't do it.

I agree because that's really how most people done things back then and just to prove a point of trust... That they finally devoted and developed over the years but what gets me is that as mother and daughter relationship between them how snow asked her to do something she could not do for her but that's how you know it was very deep and compassionate between regina and snow on how far they have came.and forgave and moved on to make there family stronger

EVERYONE is born with the potential of great good or evil. everyone is born a clean slate. just because she is your daughter doesn't make her automatically good. anyone can grow up to be good or evil. what makes that is the world they grow up in and the people that help shape them. the things they learn and take into habit. get over yourself and your damn family snow. you're nothing but a bratty princess, never a hero.

First, I think by now we can quit calling Emma the savior. She fulfilled her destiny at the end of the first season due to the restrictive nature of lifting the curse. Second, is anyone else sick and tired of Snow "Goody Two Shoes" White? David, I like, but I can barely tolerate Mary Margaret.

Mary Margaret Blanchard is someone I really don't like too much. Bandit badass Snow White was someone I really liked but not after she got cursed. I like David. And Emma's Destiny as the Savior wasn't fulfilled until the end of season 6.

@@GothBiDemiGirl actually it was meant to be Rumple's destiny. The Black Fairy only pushed Emma to take his place (while it definitely wasn't necessary) because she was obsessed about the ancient prophesy. But since she had cut away his fate the only part of the prophecy that was still meant to happened was her death at his hand (because her fate hadn't been taken away). The Final Battle was never meant to be between an over obsessed terrible Savior who cares only about her pirate and the son of the real Savior of that prophecy who doesn't even have his heart to be able to make his own choices. Having the Final Battle only between Fiona and Rumple with only Fiona dying made sense. But forcing a battle between Emma and Gideon just to remind the audience that Emma is supposed to be important when she hasn't truly been able to save anyone since she broke the first Dark Curse was absurd. And let's not talk about the ridiculous end when she survives and Gideon de-age. At least if we make them fight to death, let it be for a reason. And let's have their vision of her death truly mean something too. Like Emma fulfilling her role as the Savior by not killing anyone and sacrificing herself and Gideon stay an adult and finding his parents in tears or something. Let us have some real character development and end season 6 with a memorable funeral or something.

And to be honest snow was a little girl and she was manipulated by the same women who killed her mother and she apologized for it for year's! Despite Regina winning them over as friends and family and being the mother figure to snow shows that Regina knew and understand that she was young and didn't understand was manipulated I love the fact the she forgave them and was there for snow and charming during this when she need to keep her secret it literally gave me chills because that's what friendship/motherhood is about
