I feel as if August should have been the next author. I mean after all he's done and all the knowledge he has, he seems to be the best choice.

Plus, August was a writer during the time he spent in the Land without Magic, so being the Author would have worked quite well for him.

August deserved more. One thing I hate about Henry was that his wish realm version used the author's pen to remove the powers of the Guardians (Alice and Anastasia).

Makes sense for Walt to have been an author. Quite a few of the stories in the OUAT series are Disney films after all. (Frozen, Brave, 101 Dalmations to name a few.)

Plato was actually the one who theorized about the Alagory of the Cave, sure Socrates *taught* Plato, but it's all a matter of time.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed... Also it could be Walt Disney cause when Isaac became the author it was on December, 1966 and the apprentice said that the previous author died and that was the exact month and year that Walt Disney died, so maybe Walt Disney was the previous author.

Poor Snow she really want to get through to her daughter but for now its best if she shhhhh --- the news is still fresh to Emma and she isn't in a listening mom mood right now . Also i do hope the writers dig deep with emma and her parents relationship because we haven't gotten any quiet moments in a very long time ( Neverland was the last) i think now should be the best time we get some mother daughter heart to heart talk to each other .

it is nice made, the excuse for a terrible author who is in our real world and is creating once upon also hurting all figures and taking their happy ends without any exception in the show is put imaginable in the show itself who cn be blamed and can be defeated, that is clever and good thinking of the writers, respect

if the author's job is just to record.. why does he/she needs magic to do that? i mean everyone can witness and write without magic... but why does the author needs magic to alter the event if he/she only meant to record the events?

I think now I know where Andrew Dabb has been stealing ideas from!an Author who instead of writing what really happened,writes the things he likes to and manipulates the reality and even makes people to act out of character(watch Apprentice during this entire episode) the difference is that OUAT show runners were so much better than him in producing and executing this kind of storyline and don't suck👏👏👏

He was. In a subsequent episode, the Author is notified he's the next author in a letter dated the exact day of Walt's death in December 1966.

Fascinating scene. This whole subplot gets a 👍 from me. But "great women... and men" almost ruined it.
@samcochran82033 жыл бұрын
Why? Mary Shelly wrote Frankenstein, and the first novel was written by a Japanese women back near the beginning of the 1000's, why does the fact that August mentioned them ruin anything?
