2:35 Ummm... shouldn't that have solved the issue. I mean, in season 1 we get confirmation that true love's kiss can break any curse, INCLUDING being the Dark One (it's the whole reason Rumple kicks out Belle). So either they've nerfed their biggest "get out of jail free" card... or that's not true love.

Yeah they changed the rules because they wanted to explore the storyline...kinda lazy but it is what it is

well, that time with rumple and belle, rumple already gave in to the darkness, so when they shared true love's kiss, that kinda broke the curse or fought the darkness but was interrupted due to the fact rumple didn't want to give up the power, but in this scene, emma was still resisting the darkness and still herself, so technically, there's nothing for the true love's kiss to break
