+playstationsteve First off, they're in love with one another, so he's hardly a boy toy. You're acting as though they spent every free moment jumping into bed. Secondly, it's a little difficult to have family bonding moments when Emma is literally infected with evil, but also rescuing Merlin with Regina, saving Robin's life, bringing Gold out of his coma, going on a quest with Merlin to fix Excalibur, attempting to kill previous Dark Ones, oh, and, saving her family and friends from Arthur and Zelena. Also, in case you missed it, Henry actually helps Hook plan a romantic day for Emma, so I hardly think the kid feels neglected.

Hook comes to his senses and makes the ultimate sacrifice by telling Emma to kill him with excalibur. Since all dark ones live through him when hook died they were all sent back to the underworld
