As a fellow wide footed person that loves synthetic boots, what I did (with the predator 20.1's at least) was run a load of dishes, wait until the cycle ended and then put them in for about 10-20 minutes. The steaming then putting them on my feet really helped and if they fit length wise and generally width wise, this method has been helping. Super weird, I know, but I feel like the steam helps let the upper "break down" a bit from the factory plasticky sensation. Love the videos and you're in my normal rotation of boot reviewers now, especially since you have wider feet also! Thanks for all the content and be safe.

Probably could use a steamer or an iron as well, if anyone else is gonna try that technique

Thank you for the review Noah! Been eyeing this and hesitate a bit because of other reviews saying the upper is stiff. I love the Predators however the latest models are not fitting me well. The Mutator+ and the .1 Freak may be the best fit for me. However the Speedflow+ and .1 definitely super comfy and requires no breaking time.

I tried these on at the store and loved them. Brought them on the pitch and took them Off within 10 mins and returned the boots. For some reason they are the most uncomfortable boots I’ve ever put on while playing. Foot felt like it was going numb but also strangled. Weird.

I've finally slide into my pair of .1 Edge, def feels better once on feet. I'm giving it the beer bottle treatment overnight to stretch the mid foot and give it a go on pitch tomorrow.

I feel like only Mizuno gets that heel shaping right to not cause issues with your achillies. Everyone else seems to make the shape the exact opposite of what you'd need back there! Glad to know Adidas didn't miss the mark as badly as some other reviewers made it seem.

I wouldn't really recommend either to be honest mate - both new generations (predator accuracy and copa pure) are far better in every way

Bought the predator edge+ some months ago doesnt fit my foot at all soo now im going to try the speedflow to play with. The predators really hurt my feet so cant play in them more than 15min at the time tryed to wear them in but it doesnt work😢. They are extremly good looking so wanted it to work got the black ones. What you think about the speedflow?

what about the high toe box? looks like there are so much volume there. I will find it difficult to go under the ball to ping it with any finesse, no?

They do have a pretty high toe box, but I don't mind it honestly! The toe box isn't what makes it difficult - it's the stiffness of the upper that prevents my foot from moving in a way that makes it advantageous to ping a ball... does that all make sense? 🤝
