I know I said I think the truth about his dad is something Adrien needs to find out on his own because it just doesn't feel right for anyone else to tell him this. And I know finding out on his own would be devastating, but what I really love here is that Marinette and his friends are there with him and comforting him, even though Adrien may not know that Marinette is there because of the mask. I just showed this to my sister and we're excited for the new season!

Let's not forget that in the episode where Marinette finds out about Gabriel being monarch, she calls cat noir and tells him that. Now I don't know if since he didn't have his ring he never got the message, or if when he got his miraculous back maybe that message was still saved.

personally, i think that bugnoire tells adrien about his father’s passing and his secret identity of monarch in another teaser of the london special, ladybug is on a podium and if you go to captions and put the auto translation, ladybug says its time to tell the truth or something like that. also i LOVE your reaction when we saw adrien being shocked and him sitting down in despair, i had the exact same reaction and knew dang well this wouls be an emotional rollar coaster 😭😖 i also have another theory. so in season 6 i think that still nobody knows about gabriel being monarch bc if they did, there would probably be no secrets to hide, so i think that ladybug telling everyone about monarchs identity will be erased, just like in cat blanc when ladybug gave adrien the present. the smallest things can lead to something big…
