Well...yeah... that's sort of my attitude, in a way. We've been offered a few things that we simply wouldn't use or have already got so we wouldn't push that stuff just because it's free, but if it's something that we could actually use and or need, like in this case, then hell yeah baby!!! We purposely don't put adverts in the middle of our videos (unless they go over 100k views which they seldom do) to keep the viewing experience at what we perceive as it's best (I can't stand adverts during videos and that's when I turn the video off because it's lost my attention) so our advert revenue is really low, which we don't mind because that's not why we do this. A free tablet when I needed one saving me about £400??? Yes please! Cheers mate, appreciate you watching and commenting, all the best.

Well...feel like I need to say something to the bell ends on here who are against you showing the tablet. You told us in a previous video that you were going to show a short vid of something that you found interesting. Thats exactly what you did. Did it well too. Gave your opinion, warts and all, explained it thoroughly how it could help you personally. You weren't trying to sell it. Nobody was forced to watch. Your title even stated what the vid was about, but some people think that your vids are completely free and made just for them personally. Well, feck 'em. Wish them well while they find something else to moan about !

Adam, you’ve opened Pandora’s box getting involved with Chinese tech firms. Tech firms of any type really. I thought it’s superpower was it’s could 3D scan a room, not just the battery, yawn! Stick with power tool or materials brands if this is the direction things are going. Well done for getting the tablet mind 👊🏻

I wouldn't say that I'm "involved with Chinese tech firms" just because I have one of the brands of tablets that come out of that country anymore than I'm "involved" with the British staircase making firm Stairbox, of whom I've also made a video of featuring something that I was given for free. They both asked and I said yes, that's it! And in my humble opinion, both are ace!

All well & good, but can parts be got, are the screen, battery, chargeport etc changeable/repairable, at a reasonable price, if not it's a throw away item when anything goes wrong with it.

Good question mate. I suppose it will be down to the integrity of the company as to if they replace things that are under warranty. That's something I can't comment on I'm afraid. If anything does go wrong with mine I'll be letting everyone know.

looks good. that thing is built like a nokia 3310 . i was hopeing you were going to go all project farm on it with 'we will test that '. battery life is one of the main things stopping me bringing my tablet on site. bloody thing is an alcoholic on batery .

I’m not sure what was more entertaining, the review of the tablet in Adam’s way of describing it or reading through the muppets on here getting high and mighty over a few minute video describing a piece of kit we may all end up using at some point. I didn’t see anything kicking off about Rich ‘reviewing’ the trend jigs when he got them for the doors? Split the crowd here but I love it non the less. Keep it up fella’s you’re doing a great job helping a lot of people out 👍🏻

Great tool if you have downloaded architecture plans, cost pdf's. It would probably take a whole job spec xl doc. Nowadays this is as relevant as any tool you use. Dont listen to the old school' knobbers mate.

I'm hearing ya mate, but we've got to start somewhere! Maybe a company will see this and ask us to do more relevant stuff??? We're still a small channel and we're trying to build it, so baby steps...that being said, when I was Googling the what tablet to get, then I get an email saying do you want one for free, I'm saying yes! Who wouldn't???

I appreciate that the time and effort you are putting into making these videos doesn't always pay it's way, but you are building an audience based on your other content. You guys come across as stand up guys, giving good advice. This device is probably not that great at this price point, and you pushing it is not good advice, hence it devalues your channel. You need to be setting standards for what you review, and this might be along the lines of not pushing crap, and always making sure you can say what you want about a product, if a manufacturer won't allow that, you are peddling pish. Reach out to tool manufacturers, pickup online shops to endorse if they are worth doing, they don't always have to be mega deals, get something for yourself and get a discount for your viewers. Integrity is everything m8, taking free things and earning some easy money is not worth it in the long run.

Come on fella. More and more tradesmen now are using tablets on jobs to measure from drawings, get information and use as part of day to day working. The lecture about integrity on a KZbin channel is a bit much & there’s always the options of skipping the video maybe ??? Just a thought.

Hold on a minute...you've just reviewed the tablet and you haven't even seen it! You're implying that I've lied by saying it's good when it's not. I gave an honest review. If it was shit I'd have said so, but it's not. For some reason if this was a drill you wouldn't have a problem with it!!! You'll always get honesty with us, for instance I think that you're coming across as a judgmental plonker.

Sorry if it comes across like that, but you have not reviewed this product either. You have basically done a sponsored spot, mostly spouting the marketing material, without testing any of the claims. There is little in the way of tech specs and no real comparison beyond an unfounded dig at apple. Battery specs mean little unless you run it through repeatable tests and compare to other things on the market. No idea why you want to call me a plonker, I am just giving you some feedback.

I don’t want to subscribe to a channel that just pushes a 100% advert into my feed .
