amazing! we play this song in our high school jazz band, i have that tenor solo in the middle. man i wish i could solo like that it sounded sooo good. you have such a pure tone. is that a selmer? i cant tell. haha great job you guys sound incredible

I remember playing this song in jazz ensemble my senior year. We were at ABAC for a competition. We screwed up towards the middle or end -- ALL OF US! In the exact same place at the exact same time! Even though we miraculously got back on track, we knew we were gonna get back on the bus. Luckily, we won some awards including most outstanding trumpet section. Perfect way to end the season and year. 😉

cool i played this song last year in my high school jazz band i played 3rd trumpet as a freshmen this year i got moved to 1st/2nd trumpet ive been cranking out high G's :D last year i barely hit the E's remember trick to hitting high notes on the trumpet is to play lots of low notes GOOD LUCK !

Wasatch High School from Heber City, Utah came in first place with this song in 1982 in a national competition at Chaffey College in Alta Loma Co. California. The bass player is really good in this clip, but I wish I could hear him better. Great job!!!

It seems impossible that a town with such a small population could produce a full Jazz Band of such a great standard. But there it is - so you must believe it.

There are a few timing issues, mainly at measures 61 and 65. But other than that, a very good job.
