Interesting Jason I built my own 6.5kw Solar Power pack (13v @ 520Ah) with 2x 200w panels for around £1.3k It runs the shack and can be switch to run the main house lighting and heating pump in an emergency. The electronics is Victron or home built. The Victron Inverters run at 50Hz or 60Hz so zero interference in the shack. 73 Bruce G4ABX PS I'm doing one of the live stream presentation next Sunday at the RSGB Convention -- "QRP Fun or Folley?' Seeing no RFI with no load on the inverter is good, but you should also check for RFI with a load plugged into one or more of the inverter ports. Adding a load could change the emissions from the inverter.

Pretty sure those funky panel connectors are called MC-4 connectors , which are standard fare on most PV panels .

Yes. The bigger one is MC-4. Just wasn't sure about the other one that had the single round connector

Nice powerstation and expansion pack. The 30 amp DC output is handy. easy run 100 watt radio or a small inverter . The both together will keep food coed for a long time. With both of them have solar in ,with multiple panels you can charge faster. I have friends in NC without power over 10 days now and cell phones are out as well as no landlines . Finally heard from utility company in NC . Still no ETA on power restored but shortage of power poles and equipment like pole transformers slowing things down. The cell phone company's reporting lots of cell towers with damage due to flooding and lack of power. Generators ran out of fuel or failed to start . This just in North Carolina. many outher areas have similar problems just adding to the delay in fixing. Georgia has some power plants offline due to hurricane and damage to power grid. This is why Power Station's are great to have. Now Florida getting a cat 5 hurricane . 73

I'm curious the life time of all these device's. I have multiple jbl bluetooth speakers and small battery packs that you use to top off cellphones/ect that no longer take a charge. E-waste now I'd hate to spend a $1000 plus and the same thing happens to these in a matter of two years.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Where do all these big battery packs go in ten years? I assume you can recycle them. My local recycle location will not take them.

They have LiFePO4 battery . should be able to take apart and replace . Should have 10 year life span. Fallow charging instructions and should have great life.

Supposedly, the batteries still have 80% life after 10 years.
