this is the first i've seen sacrificing insulation for the taller sleeper to sleep sideways.... I'm 6'4 (194cm) but I'm a side sleeper, and while my transit is still being constructed at the factory, you have turmoiled my plans. I appreciate you.

It's never been an issue so far not having insulation where our heads and feet go! As a side sleeper (James) it's worked out very well!

Nice job guys and it’s great to see young people living a dream that is with the bare minimum. Although you’re not sacrificing too much because you have everything you need in the van. It makes you appreciate just what is important and it’s definitely not all the material things we’re led to believe makes us happy. Don’t change and take a look at an English architect by the name of George Clark who has been championing small space living for years and has made a few tv programs on the subject ❤️

Hi guys - I live down under in Brisbane AU. - Love your work - have been scouring the Transit conversions as I have just commenced a rebuild on our old Transit - originally a rental unit We have a new Sprinter however my 15 yr old grandaughter Abbey wanted the sad old unit for a rebuild - so I agreed to give her one Sunday a week in a mentoring role - in two days she has stripped it out completely and tagged all the electrics - only shower toilet unit left intact. - will beinteresting to see how it all goes - may well be pinging a few questions your way Reagards Ross PS I noticed you have your dust pan stored under the swivel seart - did the same in the Sprinter and it managed to catch in the wiring harness for the air bags etc - looked like a rat had been feasting on it sowworth checking on

Great build it looks a little tight but you've got a ton of storage. We have 7ft 2 inches in width and we have adjusted the amount of space a few times. Great systems set up. 👏

With the 3.5 Ecoboost, it handles the load with no problem! We were seeing 17-18mpg regularly!

The seats are from the factory surprisingly! The swivel base is a Scopema swivel and works great!

It is! And we do scrape on steep inclines due to the departure angle being so poor, but a good hitch skid negates any issues!

No windows? This van build would not be allowed on UK campsites as regulations require 2 windows each side, not including the cab.

The side airbags are actually not blocked at all and left completely free from any obstruction. As we're sure you agree, it was important to us that we not mess with the factory safety components!
