Buying wooden trains for little one….I see this other brand “tiny lands” and you get a lot more for the price. Is there a big difference between big jig, brio and tiny lands? The brio accessories seem to be more involved and less simple than tiny lands….but tiny lands reminds me of the brio I had in the early early nineties!

Hey thanks for your question. To be honest, we haven't explored much of what the other brands have to offer. I just looked up the Tiny Lands and from what i can see the sets seem fine all-be-it limited it their offering. I believe that most brands track are mostly compatible with BRIO, but unsure with one-another, its usually the gauge (depth of the groove) that you need to look for. What keeps us coming back to BRIO time and time again is the range of products they have, and the depth of their back-catalogue on the second hand market. There are hundreds of different items available from various themes and genres, and while some of the newer pieces are less wood-focused than they were in the past, they can also do alot more. You do pay a premium for that, but the product is well made, lasts a long time and in some sets holds its value well. Your also getting years worth of compatibility that has been worked into the products design, meaning your trains from the 80's/90's will work just fine with todays new track and todays trains will still run over your older track too.

Good video! The Cargo Harbor Set is on my list of sets to review very soon. Bummer the bridge isn't the best, but the price still seems good for a a cargo ship and a batter locomotive.

Yes agree, it's a shame as the bridge is the main attraction in the set as I believe it is only available in this set. But your right, if you don't have the 33052 deluxe set, it's a great way to pick up the crane and harbour boat, plus the battery train.

I believe that is the Honey chrome extension, used for voucher codes and also monitors prices over the past 30days. Useful to see if you are actually getting a good price or not.

I got the 36025 Rescue Team Train Set end of last year for my then four year old son. After a few months ths one of the little blue lights atop the ambulance stopped working. Hope to see if I can somehow get it replaced.

Can't say we have experienced anything ourselves with the similar fire engines and police vehicles... How have you found the set?

@BRIOAdventure I'd never experienced anything like that either, and was quite surprised when my son showed it to me. The set itself is quite nice and a wonderful addition to the BRIO he already has. And he loved getting it !
