Idaho sure is beautiful. I used to help my buddy get firewood up in Arbon Valley. We would harvest Aspen, six to eight inch diameter logs, then take 'em back to his house to chunk-out. Mr. Hall would get the permit and tell us boys we could only take the dead trees. When people are allowed to harvest it helps clear the forests of the detritus.

A taurus fan for real!!?!? That’s some old school Pirate4x4 tech!! Get a nice brushless fan that can be controlled by your fancy engine monitoring system. It will be way quieter and adjust as needed. Lol. But I get it! 10 bucks is 10 bucks and it works!! That’s probably what I would have done also. Or the Volvo fan. That’s another good one. 👍🏻👍🏻

Good idea on the Taurus fan. Very few aftermarket fans move the air an oem fan moves. If the Taurus fan isn’t enough long term look into the Camaro SS fan AC Delco 1581914 my buddy had a Taurus fan that couldn’t keep up and the Camaro fan moved even more air and solved his issues

Get a Derale fan set up for the mini wrecker. We use them on our KOH truck and they move a serious amount of air. Awesome guys to work with too!

That truck is awesome. The fan can probably be rebuilt. I just rebuilt 2 toyota fan motors. New motors was $450 they only needed new brushes. I did not find original ones but they can easily be sanded down to fit. I only spent $19 on the brushes. The bearings can also be changed, mine just didn't need to.

93-97 volvo 850 fan and relay setup is what you are after. Same fan as the Taurus without the big funky shroud.
