Rain should never stop a BMX race. It's not Nascar (when they hide when it rains 🤣). You would see the Tour de France being called off because it was raining?

@@plang42 I’d treat this High performance sport of BMX more like F1/Nascar than road cycling. BMX is a 30-40 second shot at winning. Road cycling goes for days. U can’t compare.

There definitely needs to be wet weather tyres for these bikes. Slicks are not suited for wet tracks. You don't see F1 or MotoGP bikes running slick in the rain.
