I got a form of toxic shock syndrome from not pooping for over a week after a surgery where the medications constipated me. I was in so much pain, throwing up, not able to move. Someone in my family called 911 and they took me in an ambulance. The dr said I could've died if I hadn't come. I would've literally died from being full of shit lol my point is don't mess around with that. It can be dangerous to not go for that long. Use an enema if you have to.

Omg Sarah!!!! I feel for you! I literally had a similar but opposite experience my first time going with my husband to meet his family and his sister's wedding in El Salvador 😭We stayed with his parents at his aunt and uncle's house. The first few days I was totally fine, but by the end of the third, I guess just the difference in the food, my stomach was killing me. Literally, his whole family knew about it and his uncle even took me to the clinic and translated everything about my awful diarrhea to the doctor. So freaking embarrassing!!!!! And then all of the family at the wedding, my first time meeting them too, were coming up to me, introducing themselves and immediately asking if I was feeling better lol. That was in 2019 and we just went again this past summer for his grandma's birthday. Everyone was asking how my stomach was doing this time and happy that I didn't get sick 😐 I left lifelong first impressions, yay😅

Girl if it makes you feel better one time I was also constipated for 5 days all because we were redoing the bathroom in my house I usually use and I simply just had to use a different one upstairs 🙃 it finally hit me in a Lowe’s and while I’m using the bathroom (which I never do in public but I knew I had to take this opportunity) the FIRE ALARM goes off. Apparently they announced to the whole store it was a test, but there were no intercom speakers in the bathroom. Definitely traumatic but not nearly as yours sounds lol can’t wait for part 2
