You really need a local guide who will help you because there is a lot of local places who are cheaper and good. If I wasn't so busy I would surely help you

Love the honesty and your effort in speaking the language. I’ve been TRYING to learn Ga. It’s so funny to my husband when I try to speak simple words and phrases. However, I’m getting better lol.❤

Whew! Y'all don't play with me like that - "done with backpacking". 🙃Happy that you're not done yet. Stepping up your accommodation game is fine. No one wants to sleep with creepy crawlies. 🐜😮 Thank you for the authentic and mildly edited content. ❤ I was a little traumatized/dizzy at the beginning with all that vibrating while y'all crossed the street. 😵😁

Abidjan is known for its thousands of "Maquis", informal restaurants where local foods like fufu, foutou, rice, placali are served. Not sure who is the local advising you, but depending on your taste and budget, Abidjan is known for its diversity of food choices. you really need to connect with locals who will guide you in this new environment, otherwise you be looking for a needle in a haystack.

alcoolisée (pronounce: al - co - lee - zay) means "contains alcohol" not "bon-sorry" ... it's bonsoir .. pronounce "Bon - Soaar " It's fun watching you try french. Nice couple.
