I love all of the reward systems very much because the reward systems are going to make me very happy. Also, when I earn a lot of reward systems, I should host my huge ultimate secret-surprise reward day party. That would be a lot of fun.

I have 5 kids, 4 of them old enough for stuff like this. And we just do a chart with stickers and when they get up to 10 stickers they get a prize from our prize box which is just filled with small toys that the girls will love that we collected over years and then my oldest isn’t really interested in that so I give her like $5 per 10 stickers

That's a great idea to convert things to money down the road when they're older and not as interested in the prizes.

Love this! I'd do some fun rewards like family game night choice, movie choice, play time with mommy or little coupons they can use for different things. Just some ideas!

I LOVE this idea!! I have 4 kids that are close in age.. about a year in between each. I must say, I absolutely love the way this encourages responsibility. I think this would also motivate the others when they see their sibling cashing in their tickets for a prize (they have a tendency to be a bit competitive 😂).

Yes, there has definitely been some "friendly" competition in our house when one has earned enough tickets to redeem them ;)

Ideas for larger rewards could be- trip of choice within a set a budget. stay up late by 20minutes, get out of chores for the day, one on one time doing activity of choice with parent of choice.

Thanks for the idea, I have 4 kids and I got the idea from Andrea Mills a KZbinr to color code the kids that way their tickets do not get mixed up

That's a great idea. I don't think it would work well for me as I like to just have one pot that I pull the tickets from for everybody and I don't really want to have to have a separate location for each child's tickets or have to dig around in the same pot for the right color. But that's great if it works out for her :) The bonus, I think, is that it's forcing my kids to be responsible with their tickets and put them in their folders if they don't want them lost or stolen. We've definitely had some tears over lost tickets in my house but it's teaching them to take care of them in the future.

I hope it works well for you! It's one thing we've been fairly consistent with and now I'm glad we have better rewards for them to work towards :)

Appreciate Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Trentvorty Kids Science Theorem (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good exclusive product for becoming an excellent parent without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam after a lifetime of fighting got astronomical results with it.

what's to stop your kids from steaing siblings tickets
@SaraWeston4 жыл бұрын
At their ages right now, they aren't as interested in this system anymore so it's not that big of a deal. But, when they were into it more, it was never really an issue with our kids. They each have a plastic envelope that they keep them in until they spend them and my kids just never went into their siblings' envelopes to get more (that I'm aware of). I guess it's just a matter of training them not to and treating others how you would want to be treated.

Loved the idea until the family date night because no child should have to behave and give their ticket to have a family fun night thats just something the parent should do as a incentive when allll the kids have behaved just seems wrong to me everything cool but that 1 was too far
@SaraWeston3 жыл бұрын
Don't worry, we do plenty of fun family activities that the kids don't have to earn; this was just for extra stuff that we don't do very often.
