So great to see all the vintage cards and holiday goodies. My friends and family can’t understand why I love stickers and cards ( oh the honey doll necklace!!- so cute. I had forgotten about her) and I love all the vintage paper/stationery -those old seals. Just love it. Saw you going trash picking first but now understand your channel. Glad I found you. Really fun girls -thanks for sharing 👍💕

The sticker seals such as the Halloween ones were used a lot by teachers to reward students. One was placed on the student's paper when returned to reward them for doing a good job. I remember getting them. What a great memory!

It's a blessing when you can find vintage crafts etc, these items are extremely hard to come by, in so glad you guys have patience and grab a bunch, I never seen that vintage pipe cleaner except of course on vintage figurines. You always need extra for repairs wonderful and those colors are incredible. It's a shame they don't make things like they use too!! Best haul ever I agree😍💫

This was such a happy video to watch! The "penmanship" book you found in the beginning, is actually a shorthand dictionary that secretaries used back in the day to take bosses' notes.
@faeriefire782 жыл бұрын
I think the book you thought could be for penmanship is actually for shorthand, but I can't be sure. SO many goodies in that place! And you know without days to go through it all, you're just scratching the surface. 😍

Hello from the Netherlands! I love watching for the vintage Halloween. I spent most of my childhood growing up in Cleveland Ohio and loved Halloween. It's not so much a thing there in Holland so finding vintage items on my thrift hunts is rare. Which is why I was so excited I found a little plastic light changing ghost toy. Thanks for all the great entertaining videos!

What a great estate sale! I would be up for an Instagram live on the magazines 👍 . Such great memories. I was in first grade in 1961. Our school papers often came back from our teachers with cool stickers attached. I kept waiting for paper dolls. Growing up in the 60’s paper dolls were popular. I can remember our mom’s sitting around chatting as they cut them out for us. Thanks as always for taking us along 💜

You live in a great area to find such treasure! In S Florida there are no basements or attics for the most part so storage is a dilemma. When people move south they have to “ clean out” so it’s good for y’all but slim pickings for us southerners. I’m happy for you and that you make those treasures available to us! Can’t wait till you fill your eBay stores with your new finds. I’ll be waiting for the bump chenille!

The witch heads were made by various companies they are not rare but they are vintage and getting very popular and sell out regularly, their popularity will continue to increase. one of the brands that had the witches was Mangelsens. The bump chenille and fabric flowers were a popular handmade craft but i believe there were mass produced ones as well.The findings and the metal as well as the gold foil paper filigrees all sell well. I vaguely remember having one of the beatles inflatables,

I think that brown book was practice for shorthand. My mother learned it in the 70s when she went to vo-tec to become a secretary. Also, along with shorthand, another thing that she used to use that has since become obsolete was a dictaphone.
