I’m just like your mum Brandon, I love allll the baby clothes 🫣🤣 My son also had 4! Pram suits but only ever wore 2 and I didn’t buy any of them 😂 You’ll be surprised how small your baby will be! I look back at his first baby grows and they are tiny! Remember newborns don’t stretch out their legs for a while and stay scrunched up 🥰

I had my baby in winter and when going to sleep would dress her in a long sleeve vest & baby grow & 2.5tog, in the day time would be the same but with a little cardigan! Can’t wait for you both! Such a lovely couple ❤ make lovely parents xx

When it’s cold they suggest 2 tog, baby grow, long sleeved vest. (16-17 degrees) Or if any warmer (18-19) the same but 1 tog if it’s like 20-21 degrees then a 1 tog , short sleeved vest and a baby grow ❤❤ your both going to be amazing parents I can’t wait for you to experience it together x

I had loads of prams and pushchairs I was addicted to them and had different colours for different outfits. The best was the silver cross Kensington from Harrods which was full Navy blue. A Bebe car carriage pram and seat unit in Navy and White. Mama’s & papa was black, mothercare 3 wheeler was a green colour, maclaren grey, quinny in white, graco In brown. I had a pink one and a red can’t remember those. All over 18yrs ago! You will know yourself what to use and when it will come naturally 😊

Cardigans (without a hood) are great for layering up during the night. In the Moses basket I was recommended to put long sleeve vest, sleepsuit, cardigan then a cellular blanket tucked in the bottom of the matress for his legs x

the tommee tippee gro egg is good for room temperature. We have one upstairs and down & leave it on all day. it helps to know what to dress baby in for bed!

Hi guys, my daughter was due late November but she didnt arrive until mid December. I will be honest me and my partner dressed our daughter in sleep suits with short sleeve vests as the amount of times she would leak from her nappy was unreal. When we did venture out we had her in either a long or short sleeve bodysuit then a long sleeve top and cardigan or a long sleeve jumper and a thick cardigan over her when in the car or pram. Another thing we done until she was swaddle her until she was a little older and able to move her arms more as i found sleep bags are either 0-6 months or 6-12 months which to me is a vast difference. With swaddling it helps the baby feel like they are still in the womb. Loving your baby videos they are making me broody again! X

A colder baby is safer than a hot baby ❤ it’s so easy to want to wrap them up in layers when they’re small but you’ll soon get the hang of it! So many new gadgets around now it’s crazy 😅

In winter i had my boy in long-sleeve vests with babygrows (if it was really cold id out socks under the babygrow) or a short sleeve vest with longsleeve top/jumper and jogging bottoms socks but tbh youll know when the time comes what to put on him just use blankets mostly where he’ll be newborn

Love to dream swaddles seem good come in different sizes. Asda sleeping bags are good I’ve always used Asda sleeping bags and it’s 2.5 tog for winter, 1/1.5 for warmer weather and hotter weather 0.5 or no bag. Also look around see where nappies are cheapest or on offer, usually places like Asda again or Tesco or Morrisons x

I had my baby last December and at night dressed him in a vest, sleepsuit & 2.5 tog sleep sack. Your baby will be used to being very warm in your tummy so definitely layer him up 😊 you can put you hand on the top of his chest to check he’s not too hot/cold x

I useto dress my son In a long sleeve vest and a 2.5tog sleeping bag … that’ll be perfect especially if the house is warm with the heating on, he won’t necessarily need a full body suit xx

Sleeping bags are usually weight based (8/9lb plus but check) you wouldn't swaddle and use a sleeping bag. In a sleeping bag, depending on your room temperature and wether he's a hot or cold baby, you can have a vest and sleepsuit or just a long sleeved vest or just a sleepsuit. You'll very quickly get to know what is best. You need to look at the tog ratings of the sleeping bags, 0.5 & 1 tog are for summer and then you have 2 and 2.5tog for winter (they do ones in between and over that but those are what we always went with) hope that helps a bit :)

Hey! I had a baby January 3rd (was due 23rd December😩) and for bed we put her in a long sleeve vest, babygrow and a 2.5 tog bag. Then through the day she was normally in a love sleeve vest, baby grow and knitted Cardigan. I think the general ‘rule’ is put baby needs one extra layer than us!

I had my little one 29th December, i dressed him in a long sleeve vest, baby grow and a cardigan on and that was enough - as long as you keep your house nice and warm he will be fine (make sure never to leave a hat on a baby, they can overheat and it can cover their face) also i would put socks on over the top of the baby grow x

I had a baby due 29th dec 22 but did not come until 12th jan 23, so was still very cold, nighttime was vest, sleep suit/ baby grow and 2.5 tog sleeping bag sometimes socks under baby grow if really cold. I think you can get 3.0 tog sleeping bags but hard to find in store x

Also it depends on your baby, my boy hated being swaddled and wanted his arms out so I had the tommee tippee ones where you can choose whether the arms are in or out x

I wouldn’t start using a sleep sack till he’s one month old, has for dressing in December I would just keep to a vest sleep suit, you can use a all in one I did with my two girls, just keep the car seat scraps a tad lose so at least he can move his arms

Always be careful with the chest carriers for babies my friend had one and it snapped luckily they still had their arms wrapped around their little boy else he'd have hit the deck definitely take care if you use one 👏💖

never have a coat on baby when in a carseat.. they make swaddles that actually work with carsets where there is an access hole that comes throught the back and then they are buckled in.. never put them in thick lays in the carseat only use blankets or covers once strapped in.. make sure you get the newborn headprotector in carseat.. at night empty craddles longsleeve onsie and they can be swaddled in the onsie.. hats and socks are the best way to keep baby warm,,

I had my baby begining of January. She slept in a long sleeve vest and sleepsuit. Then I wrapped her in a blanket for bed. Put your hand on the top of their chest to test their temperature ❤

Please be careful if you decide to swaddle as is can over heat them my midwife told me it’s a increase chance of sids. Safest way is to use a blanket tucked in each side of the cot. Sleep sacks shouldn’t be used until a little bit older either as they are too small to begin with

Is the car seat 1 of those lie flat ones ? Cybex is a brilliant make good choice on that, i had a joie i level that lay flat in the car and on the pram it was a god send i loved it, when baby is asleep in the car its easy to put the car seat on the pram and as its a lie flat seat its not as bad as using the ones that don't lie flat, though i wouldn't use the car seat for to long, baby is much better off led flat in the carry cot, love the pram you chose, its lush, cant wait until baby boy arrives, as for december and colder weather i used to use long sleeve cotton sleepsuits, if it was really cold i would put a vest under it again long sleeve and then a blanket, as he got older i did start using the sleeveless sleeping bags and found them brilliant for colder weather

The one thing I would say to you, most people don't but start thinking about when baby has outgrown the newborn car seat and start looking at the next seat ready even if you don't buy it yet, I'd personally recommend something like the joie I spin as they spin 360 like your newborn seat does, I would personally stick to rear facing for as long as is humanly possible as any baby/child is safer rear facing and rear facing can save lives in a crash, cybex do 360 spin seats so you may be able to keep the newborn isofix base and just buy the next seat up and click it on, I'm pretty sure that's the case but I'm not 100%
