The road up to the Col de Vence reminds me of the Alpine passes in Colorado. Winding but not too steep and the elevation gain is manageable. For once, Ellton wasn’t straining to get up! I have a feeling it helped to preserve his autonomy on the way home. Your drone footage of the Riviera was awesome - couldn’t be better if one of you guys did a painting of it! Artists should really try their hand there. All in all, along with the food, an incredible Sunday outing! 😊

Hello Tim & Mr Boo, great video loved the jokes & absolutely loved the drone footage. You do an amazing job because it must take ages to edit it all & put it all together. I’m glad you managed to make it to Vence it was lovely to see it and we can’t wait to get back there in July. It was a shame you didn’t get the time to show the amazing view from the promontory or to visit the cathedral which is the smallest in France and has an original Chagall mosaic in it & also some amazing dioramas that are housed upstairs. Great video and wonderful music. Very nostalgic for me as we visited Vence in 2018 with an Auto Bleue rental Zoe from Nice - we used the exact same charge point as you which was free (early days for EVs !!) and we had a discount when we returned the car with more charge than we started with! Our purpose was to visit the chapel and if you get there first thing when it opens the chapel is quiet and if the sun shines in I challenge you not to have a tear in your eye - so moving (even for me as an agnostic) and beautiful!

(32:47), and Southern France and Nice seem an idyllic place, and while all comments gushing praise and delight may seem obligatory by now, we really do love and appreciate the journeys and your company! At 17:35 Lovely glimpse of Vons and quite a lunch for 23 euro!. Here in America's riot capital, I just paid $16 for a warmed over Freeze-dried burger, $5 for a rancid dab of "French Fries" and $6 for a pint of flat piss-water passed-off as "Pilsner". So shamefully exorbitant have restaurant prices become here, many places have stopped posting them, leaving victims to shrug of the surprise until the end.

Sadly prices have gone up here too, so much so that apparently even the French are turning to the sandwich lunch (though you wouldn’t know it looking at restaurant terraces). @@MeandMonAmi Your lunch was a good value in my opinion. Hard to get a lunch for €10 ($12) most placed in America now. Before my freeze-dried Burger I ordered a $10.50 "Fresh Baked, French Roast Beef Baguette" at a Vietnamese place owned by people from El Salvador today. It was basically a hot dog bun with a single slice of cheap lunch meat, shredded cabbage and mayo tossed in a Microwave. I politely declined to accept it.

Ami regen very efficient if you managed to capture so much going back down hill. My leaf doesn't regen anything like your percentage, you must of regen about 50% going back down from what you used going up?

Not sure of exact maths on that but the regen is very good. We gained 7km of range between col de Vence and Vence and going up we used 37km

We live near to you and are about to get an Ami delivered. You have confirmed that Amis get hot. Hmm. I wonder if some form of solar panel could cover the roof to provide some shade and a charge. A bit like the windscreen silvery things, but that provide a charge. PS please don't take George Formby's name in vain (first album I ever bought was by him!!). Nice to see someone eating tongue. I’ve fitted a 50w flexible panel on the inside of my glass sunroof, with Velcro strips and 3cm diameter black plastic piping. It fits the sunroof perfect, can be removed in minutes, stops my head burning and trickle charges my allpowers 300w power bank

"Crudités?" That word played a role in the recent Pennsylvania US Senator election. One candidate used the word in a political advertisement.
