Manufacturing environments are tough. I am an IT Manager/Director in a medium-sized manufacturing company in the US and the struggle is real when it comes to sourcing parts and suppliers. Keep up the good work and God bless!

I like that you guys are honest, and showing some insight into some of your manufacturing processes/hangups. Really great, Honest, USA made oriented company. I appreciate you guys.

I’m a COO at a small/medium manufacturer in the US and this is definitely realistic! Been through similar struggles over the years. Just part of the process. Just gotta get scrappy and roll with it the best you can like y’all are. Keep fighting the good fight!

That’s awesome!!! Keep forging ahead fellas!!! Can you use a cork alternate material for that layer?
@Warrior1Spartan4 ай бұрын
If it were my call, I would say do both of those options: get the bulk material to split yourself as your waiting for your shipment to come in while also seeking out other manufacturers that can source it for you. Good on you for bringing jobs back to the US.

Anytime you see in the factory and hear from the workers, you know it's good. When do you see sweatshops giving airtime to their slaves?

If it was any company to over come these issues, it would be you guys! By any means necessary!
Please consider adding sizes 7/7.5 again. I just got a pair of 7.5 bison boots that were discontinued. My surprise to have seen they were available.

My opinion USA manufacturers need to obide by Henry Ford. All production aspects are in house or in the family.

Does anyone know if they are cranking these boots out yet or is there still a halt in production?

go to a leather midsole?
@TyEMW10144 ай бұрын
Something my first television tower boss told me... I was ontop of a 1000' to 2000' foot tower at night time hanging off a 125' pole ontop of the tower and the fiberglass hand holds kept breaking off. There wasn't anything else to hold onto and there was no way to have a safety, so I was free climbing.

Make it a leather mid sole! Get Rose Anvil involved in the design process!
@tanthony389517 күн бұрын
they could absolutely go with a leather midsole but they would not be able to maintain the price point they would like. Leather is prohibitively expensive and that is part of the reason why they're not using a solid leather insole. Consumers don't realize how costly high quality leather really is.

Why not go go for a leather midsole?

Origin USA (+Canada) I'm ok with that on occasion

And to be fair, that was a machine part, not material for the product. All products are still 100% U.S. made ("from dirt to shirt" as the moto goes).

Why not a leather midsole? I know rubber adheres to rubber better but leather is still a very viable option.

I can virtually guarantee in this economic environment and the state of our country they will not be able to withstand having this boot built here and survive as a company. To make a true american-made product in this country with the current state of things, is virtually impossible. Companies are forced to pivot and bring in offshore labor and materials. If they want to stay in business they are going to have to utilize the same production structure as virtually every other company in the US which means going offshore. This is the reality our politicians from both sides of the aisles have created due to lobbist and politics. The average American either does not want to pay or cannot afford to pay for true American made items. In today's world made in the USA means you better be ready to get your checkbook out. The average consumer has no idea of true business cost...

Gucci makes trash product that rarely lasts. There is an entire industry of Gucci returned product that the manufacturer won’t even fix, they sell in used bulk. Look inside a Gucci purse or shirt next time you’re near their store…..you’ll see frays on the inside straight from the Chinese and Pakistan factory they source their stuff from. At least Origin makes a quality product that isn’t robbing people due to a “brand”.
@loganviking39234 ай бұрын
Actually paying their workers instead of using sweat shop slave labor is a big cost, as is sourcing 100% of the material from the U.S. And their products are all outstanding quality. If you don't want their level of quality or to support their mission to rebuild American manufacturing, but instead prefer to buy subpar products while supporting slavery and the continued death of American manufacturing, that's your prerogative.
@donnyshankles78524 ай бұрын
@@loganviking3923 there is no such thing as 70 dollars worth of quality for a tee shirt. you can fall for the marketing if ya want but im not buying a 30 dollar shirt for 70 dollars. literally the only thing they sell that is priced right are the boots everything else is a bit of a cash grab.
