@@keithlabby7312 So sorry. You might try swapping mates. Sometimes it's only one parent that's a failure. Or, are they safe from cold weather and/or rodents? Just a possibility. Good luck.

Sorry, I don't know anyone that far south. I once lived in Carlsbad down there, a pretty area when I was there over 30 years ago. Smile. Consider a vacation to Coos County, Oregon once conditions improve for both states. We will have wonderful babies available next Spring. Meanwhile, you can do a search for bird fairs or bird shows in Calif. Also, some websites advertise birds. I've used "Birds Now" ... but beware of one breeder who claims to be in every major city, but isn't. Best of luck.

Rosie Bird thank you so much for your reply. I live in Carlsbad/Oceanside. I checked so many websites and only came up with possible mail delivery and then all were sold out! Just as I gave up I ran across an ad on Craig’s List for 3 beauties in Los Angles. Going up tomorrow to see them. Again thank you and I will continue to follow you.

@@lindajennings4566 I like to wait until the babies are all out of the nest boxes before clipping any of their toenails too short to get a blood sample and sending it off for DNA testing. Perches are cleaner to stand on than nest box floors.
