Our Carnival Celebration Cruise 🛳️ - Sail with Us! | Family Travel Vlog // The Kaytie Chronicles

Let's cruise! From Miami to Amber Cove, San Juan and St. Thomas on the Carnival Celebration, an EXCEL CLASS ship.

Notes:
- We flew into MIA the morning before (6am flight, who am I?!)
- MIAM is the name of the cafe we stopped at for breakfast. It is very small in there, parking is street only, potatoes were great
- We stayed in Brickell at the Hampton Inn & Suites. Nice hotel, close to the port, restaurants downstairs were really yum!
- The hotel does have a 3rd party shuttle to take you to the port, it is $8 pp, it fills up fast even if you fill out the slip the night before. We ended up taking an Uber and still got there before the shuttle and that was AFTER our first Uber dropped us while en route.
- Embarkation was a breeze!
- No one does sail away like Carnival (if you know, you know)
- Connecting Balcony Rooms were amazing. We were on the Port Side, FWD with a great view of the navigational bridge
- We saw dolphins!!
- I was really excited for the Most Magnificent Circus Show. It was okay, not something I would wait to see again.
- San Juan has become my favorite port. Highly recommend walking to Cafe Mallorca to grab a bite to eat and a mallorca. Yum yum yum!
- We went to the mall in San Juan as well. Wow!
- We only went to KFC in St. Thomas. Hubs is from the Virgin Islands and wanted me to experience KFC (I wanted McDonalds because I heard they had wings?)
- St. Thomas felt very congested but I enjoyed it!
- Bolt the Sea Coaster....not doing that again. You heard me.
- Please attend 80's Night.
- If you order shots in the Dining Room, remember that they will not come on a plate of 20 other shots (this is how I ended up with too many before dinner lol which started the chain of events on 80s night)
- Great way to spend Spring Break this year!
