English in England is taught differently because of capturing a couple more countries in a word, and the words are spelled differently than the United States, so it sounds different. The accent of English in England is so hard to understand as to which countryside of England people are from. The colonizers of GB that swept through the 13 colonies of the United States did not leave a good impression. So the dialect changed to differentiate the United States from the GB colonizers. English in England is taught, and pronunciation is different. English in the United States is learned, and it’s stressed to enunciate all the alphabet syllables in the word or sentence. Totally different from the UK. If you want to blame anything derogatory of the English language in the USA, shall we start in the colonizers homage, there you may understand the difference.

I didn’t realize and a bit disappointed with my own thinking, that until I saw this beautiful video that I would have never thought a Chinese man would marry a woman of color. This touched my heart so deep and filled me with joy. It is such a blessing when two people come together in love. The world would be a better place if all of us allowed love to rule our hearts like these two did. (I, personally have no problem.) Angel Island is where Asians came into America in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Asian Men didn’t marry Black Women for if they did we’d see them in many of our families photos of that time and I’ve never seen any Asian uncles or cousins in my family until the 1970’s 1980’s, 1990’s and 200’s and their not that many and those that are married to Asians are Black men not Asian Men and American Black woman of the 1800’s or early 1900’s or mid 1900’s. Many Asian Men may have married African Woman just like many Edom-Roman/ Greek Men Married African Woman for Centuries, and still do. Very rare you find those Men married to the American Black Woman usually those marriages end in Divorce very few of those marriages last.

What are you talking about. Is does not take courage to love someone from another culture. We are all human beings. It's comments like this that prove all people think about is Race these days. Moreover, If there is any courage involved here, its from the Chineses side, because they are extremely closed and homogeneous in their actions. As for we Africans/African Americans, we've always been very accepting. I am familiar with the Chinese culture. My first cousins are part Chinese-Caribbean. There are cultural protocols that are followed in many of their ceremonies. She’s not even an American❗️ Who would give her a Visa to come to America (Would you have done so?) & pay for her Wedding? Just asking. She’ll need hotel, travel expenses, a Host to help her navigate the USA, a clergyman etc. solve place to stay in before & for the wedding. She lives in China. That’s approximately 7,058 miles away from Honolulu, Hawaii or closest American city- Seattle, West coast, USA. A 13 hr non-stop flight.
