I ABSOLUTELY ADORE the moments Taryn stares blankly at the void because her thoughts are so into the subject they’re talking about. The depths you guys can go on matter’s like the name of paper’s thickness is THE BEST

I appreciate the nuance of your stories so much, especially discussing the inevitable gray areas that exist in your sexuality. Like, most people will never get the chance to really explore all the facets of their sexuality, so it always feels like an incomplete puzzle and you just have to assign the label that you feel like makes the most sense.

Taryn’s story makes me feel reassured about not having to pick a label. I found Cammie’s channel when I was a teen and now in my twenties I still watch your videos. Thanks for sharing your stories, Taryn and Cammie!

Congratulations on the podcast network signing. I hope that makes things easier for you :D Thank you for sharing your stories. I'm glad you both got through the rough parts of coming out, but damn that sounded challenging. And aww, that final doggo shot :)

Watching you guys every week is so refreshing, transitioning to male around the same age i was exploring my sexuality was so confusing..but listening to your story’s really allows me to sit and laugh about my childhood and the navigation of liking women. Thank you for always being so open and honest

I looooved this ep!! Was thinking that it would be really nice to hear about the middle relationships. How we learn to be in more healthy relationships over time. Like, we always see a lot of things about the 1st one, and it’s usually the one where we hurt each other’s the most, cause we are still learning so much. I’m in my 3rd relationship now, happily married, but I think a lot about how the 2nd relationship was important, to learn to be more healthy, a better partnership. Do you guys think that? I would love an ep talking about these in between relationships e how they teach us things too and lead to the “best one” yet. Anywhodlem love u guys!!!

The label thing reminded me of this quote from malibu rising “How were you supposed to change- in ways both big and small- when your family was always there to remind you of exactly the person you apparently signed an ironclad contract to be?” I feel like the labels are so helpful when you’re trying to feel like you fit in but they can be suffocating as well

The "is this compulsory heterosexuality or internalized biphobia?" is a hard thing to figure out for many queer women. Definitely don't feel pressure to put a label on it. I've personally debated "is this just aesthetic attraction and a strong emotional connection, or have I just been conditioned by biphobic lesbians to think that my attraction to men is gross?". There's also that thing people say where if a man sleeps with 1,000 women and 1 man society calls him gay, but a woman sleeps with 1,000 women and 1 man and society says she's straight and exploring. It's exaggerated, but there's a lot of truth to the different experiences women and men experience when they fall somewhere between 100% straight and 100% gay on spectrum.

taryn I have never related to someone soooo much in terms of sexuality omg so cheesy but it makes me feel so seen !! i’m like 98% attracted to women and 2% attracted to men (LMFAO) and had a whole am I a lesbian ??? or bi ?????? moment for a minute until i just decided i’m simply neither :P I just say queer
@oopskye Жыл бұрын
however what’s interesting is that I have a boyfriend 😵💫 but I still don’t say bi bc I am soooo much more attracted to women than men and it doesn’t feel representative to say bi for some reason
@NotAnotherKuromi Жыл бұрын
@@oopskyeI think people mistakenly think being bisexual means 50/50 when the majorty have a preference. Misinformatiom and biphobia and bierasure (basing somone elses sexuality on who thrybare currently dating or what expeirmcesnthet have had, which they dont do woth straight people) it can b diffocult to overcome those things and figure yourself out. You are attracted to both men and women so you are bisexual and that's ok.

I love "Queer" as a label ❤ I also just use any label: Bi, pan, lesbian, gay, queer 🎉 If I wanted to be specific about my current feelings, I would describe myself as panromantic/homosexual but also greysexual (and also zero interested in cis men :P)
