You two are the most inspiring people I have ever seen on KZbin. I love everything that you guys do and stand for everything you stand for. My life goal has been to travel and see the corners of the world that I didn't even know existed. But recently have become aware of my plans turning into the dreams and that is a terrifying realisation. But seeing your content makes me believe that it may be achievable and opens my eyes to what I am working towards. Thank you for sharing your life and you're journeys with us.

THIS!! This is what life should be! Minimalism, caring, connecting with earth. This is what being human should be about! I feel so stuck and frustrated in this money hungry egotistical world and your videos provides the peace I seek and your lifestyle is truly something to aspire to! There should be more people like you in this world! Thank you SO much

Not spiritual at all, I know so little about religions and stuff... but you have made me BELIEVE in myself, in the way I think, that positive thoughts lead to positive actions, that being able to extend your limbs and just take a moment to FEEL everything around you, not to see and not interact at all, as soon as I began following you and implementing every good habit and thought to my everyday life I have to admit I've never felt more fulfilled. HAPPINESS and smiling.

The timing couldn't be more perfect. I just finished my engineering degree and the last 12 months were a complete haze. I achieved what I had set my mind to, but it sucked the life out of me and left me so burnt-out. Now, there is nothing to deliver, nothing is expected of me other than to relish in this complete peace and victory, but I can't accept it for some reason and I keep looking for something to do.. Something to make me feel productive and validated. I get the feeling oftentimes that I am closing off a chapter of my life and it's scary to admit it because I am declaring a new beginning into uncertainty. Your video, this one, is exactly the message I need to hear. It is exactly what I need to do. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I honestly believe that there is no limit to what we want to accomplish in our lives. It is very true that we are, at times, our own worst enemy, in the sense that we are too hard on ourselves, too judgemental, or consistently telling ourselves no! I can't do that. I don't believe it's that we can't. It's more that we don't want to, or to be quite honest don't have the discipline to accomplish those specific goals. Reseting our minds, & in essence revamping our lives & beginning a new is truly a huge feat in & of itself. You can't change you in a moment. It's a long road. But if you have the strength, the sheer WILL & bull headed determination, you can do it all! The human spirit is a powerful thing. Lots of love!

'Reacting' sneaks up on a person. 'We' are too busy. When we're working toward a goal, many times we reach it without even knowing it because we expect a feeling that is actually not associated with the goal. The feeling is a state of mind. Goals are great, but good feelings are associated with self respect, self love and (sorry for the cliche) being true to ourselves. Accountability for our lives and the impact we have on others, our environment and immediate surroundings. If a person, job, food or other influence does not improve our minds, bodies or spirits, then it has no place in our lives. Many times I stop what I'm doing or thinking and ask myself and the answer is easy (for me). Stress over that situation is gone. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Beautiful journey you're on🌱

I love this blog, and everything you do ❤️ One of mine life hacks is to wake up and think positive. So instead of thinking "Do I have to wake up right now" or "I am so tired, I want to sleep more", I try to instead think "This is going to be a beautiful day". I think it is important to start the day with a positive mind :) I have started translating this youtube video to Norwegian, so I hope I will be finished tomorrow 🙏🏻

Beautiful! He is right about buzzing your hair short. You feel freedom and simplicity! I got tons of compliments when I did it. You only have to wash it, never blow dry or straighten it and it dries quickly. It brings out the features of your eyes, face. I did it three years ago and I will never forget that freedom I felt. I hid behind my hair. I had long hair, buzzed it and kept it that way for a while. It is so beautiful the stages your hair grows out into when you decide to grow it out again. I had grown it to my tailbone then cut it shorter each time until I reached now just below my shoulders. I still would not mind that beautiful buzz cut again. He is a man so you as a woman would look different. Not like a man. Tibet! So looking forward to the videos. Blessings

You are both so beautiful, inside and out. You seem so much better! There are a lot of studies about early childhood and how important it is to have time, to "be bored" in order to spark that creativity inside you. Children who are stuck to a television or a video game (even if it's healthy activities like sports or drama, etc.), we need rest not only for our body, but for our mind too. By being "bored" or having nothing to do (or nobody to do it with), we think, we experience life differently and it opens up our creative side. As productive as it can be to be really specific about what task to accomplish for what period of time, we must always keep time to relax, enjoy, take a cup of tea, think, etc. Spending time with ourselves and being comfortable with being alone is such a difficult thing to do, to learn, for most of us. We have our phones (like Mark said, as a ball and chains) attached to us and are never alone. Anyway, I loved your video and I love you guys, I'm really happy you found peace and new habits. Just be careful not to overwork yourselves! Much love xxxx

Guys you are amazing! I myself currently go through major life changes and for me it actually is the exact opposite from what you are doing. 😄 I was living by lists for years and I don’t know when the last time was I slept longer than 6:30am (probably somewhat 4 years ago 😅) but this “being in control“ of life just got a little bit too much and I found myself wasting the time I got from waking up early. I wasn’t productive anymore (and still have a lot of work to do till I am) and that’s why I’ve decided to work on improving my goal setting and my time management to do less and be more. Because I think, nothing in excess is good not even “life control”. So I’m excited for what’s to come and hope to be inspired by all that you are about to share 🧡

I couldn’t agree with you more! I work as a preschool teacher with children all day, as well as having 6 of my own and being a wife. I was in college full time last few years on top of it all. I burnt myself out so much that I crashed and burned 2 years ago and I have changed so much since like leaving school, working for a small preschool and eventually starting my own and am slowly healing but it has been a process. I have created new habits such as nourishing my body and doing daily yoga routine from your channel. I am slowly healing but still struggling due to all the noise that never ends and not being able to have a break from it all for a bit.

This is good timing that this showed up on my feed. I spontaneously quit my shitty office job a couple of weeks ago. I've been in Greece for a week and am due to go home today and I'm getting so anxious about what to do next. I've been following a few courses on skill share, writing and doing a lot of photography. I'd ideally like to try to find work related to these things but the reality of going home and doing something new and putting myself out there is scaring me. Thank you for the inspiration.

What a fabulous post! I just started teaching Pilates a few weeks back and find I need to keep track of my classes, routines and work schedules better than just using my memory :-) . I am going to pull out my planner (that I carry with me everywhere, but forget to use :-) and start to make a new habit out of planning and goal-setting. Thanks for the encouragement to join the 5am club! I used to do that and got so much more done each day! Thank you for sharing with us! (Love the haircut)

Hi there, yes! I fully agree and have come to very similar conclusions. You guys have come a long way and I think it's beyond awesome to see how many others you inspire! Today I would like to put a bug in your ear, though. Have you thought about creating a video series with the title being something like "Yoga as Somatic Therapy - overcome the trauma your body has experienced and holds"? I created this for myself almost 10 years ago. Pieced together yoga videos on youtube. I could not sit still and meditate, but yoga provided moving meditation for me. I worked through feelings and ideas that I had carried my entire life and got rid of the dark cloud that covered my heart. Through yoga. It's nice to help someone feel good by doing yoga, but it could be much more rewarding to help people who carry trauma. I myself am in the process of developing a coaching business for exactly that. I think you guys are awesome and have a great following. Just wanted to put this out there.

Oof I feel this ... in February I finished a year-long project that (so far) was the most challenging thing I’d done professionally, my husband at the same time had accepted a position in management (temporary, we’re waiting to hear if it will become permanent) and then he asked me two weeks after I finished my big project if we could flip our house, something he had been wanting to do for quite awhile but the timing had never been right ... and we have three kids😂 I also live with anxiety and it’s been extremely bad lately, and in one of your other videos you said “what are you letting in? Sad news or stuff that will actually help?” (Paraphrasing) and I know better than to read the news but I had been and that was a lightbulb moment ... I love all the videos but this one was so needed by me today (and I’m sure many others!), thank you😊

I work mid shift and overnight shifts at an ER. I am definitely not a morning person. My body feels better when I work nights. I have more energy and am in a better mood. But I hated the idea of sleeping in until the afternoon because I feel like I've wasted half the day. I go to bed at 5 am, so trying to wake up in the morning would just be unhealthy. The important thing I learned is to do what's right for my body. If I have to sleep until 2pm just to get 8 hours then that's what I need to do. I needed to let go of the idea that I'm wasting time and look at it as doing what I want, what's good for me.

Hey guys,,I'm a west coaster. I have some amazing secret spots you guys could check out. You both seem so young, good path though west coast has already had an affect on you😊 .I grew up on the gulf islands but my darlin had an unfortunate accident whi h left him paralyzed and well found ourselves on the big island now for about 15 years. We have a small market garden 2 hectare . Market being for us 😊we grow our own food and preserve what we can't eat fresh. Our pup lives a life of luxury, the west coast is magic, I'm not surprised you both are inspired I am a gardener landscaper and desigber by trade.. this place on earth is something to behold. It is so special , something happens here. If you are connected its out of it. Anyhow, cruise out of Vic and wander in the wild coast, head up Sooke rd and keep on goin stoppin of course. Unfortunately the surf season is just about over, sorry bud. Winter storm junkies around these parts 😧only tourists come in summer,we get the heck out. Can give you more sweet spot and groovy for pups off leash deets if you like. Thanks so much for your vids,i have compiled a great version of yours for my daily routines. As well as plenty of yoga stretching added. Not the young pup i once was just 48 so not to old and gross yet Anyhow give thanks, much luv. Keep on keepin on ,welcome to the island think you will both be respectful and aware 😊

Oh yes! I honestly love how much our way and challenges are similar. 😍 And yes, visualization is a great tool!! So, the early get ups: I tried it for a few weeks I guess but somehow my body claimed for more sleep (I'm kinda night owl and treasure the time with hubby in the evenings) so I kinda always turn of my earliest alarm clock. Will give it another try, as well as the lists. Nepal, oh wow! Guess what, my hubby's brother just accepted a new job there! I'd love to go to Tibet once actually. Thanks for sharing all that! And yes, we are only scratching the surface, so I'm sure it'll stay exciting! ☺️😅😍😍 Extra note: I'd love to contribute and translate whatever you need into German. Just contact me (I'm one of your patrons, too).

I love you both so much and your videos! I can feel your love and authenticity. I listen to your meditation videos everyday and was wondering if will be making more guided meditation videos in the future? :) Sending Love & light right back to you both.
