I lost my first child when she was 2 years old. She had Cancer and was on Chemo. Someone came around her with a cold or a virus and did not tell us about being sick. My daughter died from Pneumonia. I have 2 kids who are immune compromised from Crohn's disease, taking biologics and I am immune compromised. It is so very easy for some in the comments to be so nonchalant about how people in high risk groups will die. Yes, we are all vaccinated and still staying home. But those in high risk groups could use a little help and empathy in trying to avoid dying from this virus.

I am also concerned that she doesn’t have the latest info obviously. Saying kids don’t get it as bad is old news. That was before Delta. It’s a slap in the face to those losing their children, or the thousands laying in hospitals now. No matter what decisions she is making for her own family, it’s not right to spread misinformation to others. It remains to be seen if she made the right decisions, so don’t follow information from someone who is not qualified to give it. She was a nurse in the past, but has not been a practicing nurse thru any of the pandemic. She does not know the latest protocols. Schools are already having to shut down just 2 weeks in because of misinformation. It’s an epidemic in the US. People think their opinion is fact, and they don’t have to believe facts. They can make up their own truth just because we r free. There is nothing in the constitution that says we can do what we want.

Some of the kids could have caught it later and needed a longer quarantine time. It yet know the long term damage covid has in the body. You don’t know if you had covid. Did you stop and get gas anywhere? Stop at a store to buy supplies? I agree. Although I don't know if Sarah and her family members (who are 12 years and older) receive COVID vaccine or not, it is possible they already unintentionally spread the virus to other people. I am in the health care system too and my father just passed away because of COVID. It is difficult for me to see that we have a solution (i.e., the vaccine) to prevent people getting sick or die by COVID, but some of us choose not to receive the vaccine and eventually make other people die from the COVID. Again. I don't know the whole situation about Sarah's family and I am not saying that they intentionally make other people sick/die by COVID. I just wish for those people who can get the vaccine and refuse to get it to see my father's face when he was dying. He lives in Taiwan and he was not be able to get the vaccine before he die. People who live in other countries would exchange everything they have to be in a position that we have in the US.

I have regularly followed 6-8 You Tube channels since the beginning of 2021, and have seen only one family wearing face masks in all that time. Three of the families have experienced covid. I am not being judgmental; I know that being vaccinated or not is a personal decision. I am just having trouble understanding why so many people seem to have such a casual attitude about the virus. I sincerely hope we all stay healthy.

you came at that the right way.. I was most likely to abrupt and abrasive above but I'm at a point where I have reached my limit. I cannot, for the life of me, see how college educated people (Sara) seem to be on the fence about this.. she's a nurse.. she should know how to react to this situation which, in my opinion, is to test everyone. It might not be covid, but if it is, then they would know what steps to take.. maybe they didn't want to know because it would stop this trip? I don't know, I don't want any hate and I don't have any ill will toward this family in the slightest.. I have no idea about their vaccination status, but I have a strong hunch and I am going to keep it to myself because I should not assume. I do know that I have very seldom, if ever, seen any of them wearing masks, so this is what guides my judgment. Again.. I don't want hate, but to put other people at risk and allow further spread of this virus is being irresponsible. Then again, we only get a glimpse into their lives at any given moment so I reserve judgment because, again, I don't want to assume. Everyone take care and please be responsible, if nothing else, think about others that you might impact.

Love watching you guys but incredibly disappointed by the way you chose to handle the situation. Traveling while having it is incredibly irresponsible. My father contracted covid from a client July of 2020 and ended up in the icu for 16 days. He would go on to spend 28 days in the hospital, 2 months with around the clock in home care, and 5 months on oxygen. He went from being a strong 62 year old man that worked out 2 hours everyday to a man who could barely walk 5 feet in front of him. I have since lost 14 family members and family friends to this virus. Its a shame that a family with a platform as large as yours failed to set a good example during such a critical time for our country. 😔

We're supposed to think of others, especially those weaker or lesser than ourselves in any way, and alter our behaviors so that we don't harm them through our actions. The more time I take to ponder their decision to travel, to send kids to camps, to go out in public .... the more I find myself stunned and surprised and truly disappointed. I've decided to unsubscribe from this channel today after I finish this comment, and then I'm going to go and pray for my friend and her entire family that are currently seriously ill with this virus, for the church friends I lost to this virus this year, and for loved ones that are caring for an immunocomprimised child who truly deal with the daily terror of a potential exposure each time they run any errand and are still wearing gloves & a mask to bring groceries into a room to sanitize them. I am confused as to what Solo and Sara have done wrong. They did their quarantine time as advised by their Doctor, who also told them it was OK to travel. They’re staying in their own RV and not going into stores. They are socially distancing from everyone. I honestly don’t know what all of you want from them. They are being very responsible. Sarah and Solo, I wish you God’s blessings on your recovery. Happy anniversary and happy birthday to Eli. Blessings, Betsy

@@retirebear3551 Maybe none. I know we have driven cross-country and never came in contact with anyone. We kept Clorox wipes in our car and wiped off the nozzle and the gas pump before and after. We also wore disposable gloves. If they had the food in their RV there was no reason for them to go into stores and it didn’t look like there were was anyone around them in the campground. But, as I said earlier, their doctor had okayed it as they had done their quarantine time. Doctors and nurses at the hospital only quarantine 10 days from the onset of symptoms and then they’re allowed to go back to work with vulnerable and sick patients.

I don’t know why Sarah and her family didn’t get tested but if I was to take a guess, it’s because they don’t need to be told they are sick. For a sick person to go out and be tested is just counter intuitive. If you are sick the wise person stays away from people and quarantines. Also there is other information on the covid 19 test itself that causes concern to a wise person. Perhaps you should do some deeper research on the covid testing itself. Perhaps you are not fully educated on the validity of the so called test. Just answering your question, not everything is as it seems on mainstream media.
