My pew is from our 1867 church. Some members voted to get rid of them in lieu of chairs. Some of us were not happy! So our pastor gave pews to the ppl that were upset. The pews were 12 ft. long and pastor cut them down to 6 ft. It's my most prized antique. I live in a 1910 farmhouse on 80 acres. Love our décor, so pretty!

Everything is so special. I love all the little trees. Well, there is so much I love I can't begin.....lol. I did a pineapple and fruit centerpiece on my dining room table this year with greenery and I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I'm still decorating though. Trying to do what I can and am able. Keeping it simple pretty much as well. Your home is so inviting; wish I could come over and sit with you and your mom. Tell Tim he needs to whip up something on the Blackstone for us for Christmas and that should get Mike cooking again!!!! Happy, blessed Sunday friend. xoxTXDeb

When I taught Kindergarten, one of our teachers always did a colonial Christmas with her class each year. I watched and helped her make decor out of pineapple, greenery, oranges, pine cones, cloves, you name it. Her room smelled amazing and it sparked a love for the simple, natural decor even deeper in me. There is nothing like all those natural fragrances that no candle could ever match! Ok, I’ll see if I can get Tim on that. Haha He normally cooks a big Christmas morning breakfast for our family but we are going to my brothers’ this year so he might get a break. He did help me with a breakfast casserole which should be the next video coming. Maybe that will inspire Mike. 😉 Lots of love!!
