Loved the video. If people can’t figure out the negative aspect of living in a hilltop tourist Italian town from your everyday videos then they are blind. The steps, tons of tourist, traffic, the expanse of getting things delivered , how the town shuts down in winter, etc. you do a great job depicting life in Positano. I look forward to your videos.

I would definitely appreciate hearing about some of the more negative aspects of living in Positano. I guess I’m just not a “hide my head in the sand” kind of person. Having visited the Amalfi coast several times, we’ve always chosen to stay in Ravello and visit Positano on day trips because of how crowded it can get. We enjoy the hustle and bustle for a few hours but appreciate the peace of Ravello in the evenings. That being said, I very much appreciated your comment on the increase in traffic between the two towns - which some might consider “negative”. For me it was just another helpful fact to consider when planning our next trip. Thanks for your wonderful videos which strike just the right balance between pure escapism and practical information.

I would love to see the negative aspects to living in positano. Also, curious when the elderly can’t walk up and down the steps, what do they do? How do they get to the doctor? Where is the nearest hospital? Etc. Nicki, your channel is our absolute favorite! My husband and I love sitting down with a glass of wine in the evenings and watch your latest videos. Trust there are more of us that love your content than the few negative Nellys. ❤

Some of my fondest memories of the area were stopping a shop attached to house and an agriturismo, so my vote is outside Positano (lovely it is). There is such a thing as "toxic positivity" so don't sweat the bad stuff. I actually love the real feel of your videos. I stopped watching some content providers because they made their life look too rosy which was either shallow or made me feel like my life was dull and sad. You can't please everyone I suppose. Some people want a pure escape. Some, like me, find that tiresome. Besides, even the "negative" snippets in your videos are pretty tame. I mean, it's not like you're unburdening yourself on us. I appreciate your content for the good and the bad of life in Positano; your beautiful editing and music; the interesting people; the authentic lifestyle; the montages with voice-over; and the excellent camerawork. The wedding site/flower preparations, and stunning views are so beautiful- I feel transported to beautiful Italy Personally, I’d like to know about the negatives of living in Positano. The stairs are obvious- but certainly great cardio-for me, I’d certainly require such a “commute” to manage my weight given all the delicious food! I don’t think being aware of the downside in any way distorts what is good/great. Just gives a balanced perspective God bless you both-you’re fabulous!
