Those little girls are just so darling talking about how they are welcoming the Ukrainian kids to their classes. My son is living in Poland right now and has given his apartment to a lady, her daughter and their two dogs. I love hearing about the love these poor people are receiving from their neighboring countries.

Loved your “Shining” visit to the Hotel Poseidon. I recently bought the novel One Italian Summer which takes place in large part at the Poseidon. A few weeks ago CBC National news showed elementary students in your region welcoming Ukrainian children to their school with Ukrainian flags, flowers and song. Positano is a small town with a big heart. 💕💕💕🇨🇦

I think the young woman who accompanied Niki on the tour is the person the author contacted to let them know she was using the Poseidon in the storyline. Loved Niki playing the piano. The olive groves are wonderful and no stairs for the puppy. Will Indie get too big for the cat flap? That's some serious hail. It's such fun watching dogs explore nature, but Indie won't go too far from Skye who is her security blanket out in the wilds of Positano or nearby locales. Please God, so many are praying and working toward justice and peace for Ukraine and its people. The baby goats are too cute. Are you finding it just as convenient to get your eggs in some manner other than having chickens laying on your property? The donkeys seem shy. "Hill Street Blues" was one of my favorite dramatic shows. Did you get to watch it in Britain? Oh, look at that hotel kitchen. You could have asked for whatever they had plenty of, I guess. Love that Holly is in the midst of Carlo working on the deck and you filming/talking.

I actually ran into Nicki on Fornillo beach when I was visiting I think in 2019. She seemed somewhat taken aback that I had recognized her lol. Then I felt like a creep! Thank you Nicki for your piano rendition of "The Entertainer". It brought back fond memories of my mother purchasing the sheet music of that tune, so that my grandma could play it for her. My grandma usually played classical music, but made certain exceptions...like playing "The Teddy Bears Picnic" for me as a little girl. I hope you continue to play the piano regularly.
