Oh my goodness! Just found this and it's our baby girl Sadie to a T! We rescued her from a pitbull rescue centre and as she has grown (she is 4 months now) we have realised that maybe a bit of pitty somewhere in there but the long legs and jumps and personality had us quickly realising there is something else amazing in her. And after seeing pics and traits of a vizsla and now your video has confirmed! The covering and "burrowing" under blankets and the obsession with sticks and her absolute adoration of me and her daddy that she follows me everywhere, cant be left alone, just everything! Is so her! Thank u for this insight. This mommy is going to have to get back to fitness routine!

Just adapted a vizsla from a mom who was abandoned pregnant. Probably a breeder. He’s 2.5 months old. Very intelligent and playful. But I am STRUGGLING to house train him. And, they didn’t let any of the puppies outside at all. Said they could get sick. So he’s afraid of the grass and ground. (He was fully vaxed the day I got him). But I think we’ll have a good bond!

Thank you for this video! When considering having a Vizsla join the Family, a video like yours is super useful! How long have you been with him in the woods? I’m trying to understand how much exercise an active Vizsla needs:D. Even though I also noticed that it can also vary quite drastically between individuals.
@LordCannonTheVizsla3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I am glad that you enjoyed the video. At the moment we walk twice a day and then 2/3 times a week we will go to the woods for around an hour at lunchtime. If it’s dry he is outside running around in our garden between naps. He is still only a puppy though so we roughly go by the rule 5min walk per month of age. Once he is an adult and his bones have fully formed we will switch his morning walk to a run with me instead. 😊🐾🐾
@МарияСорока-т1х3 жыл бұрын
@@LordCannonTheVizsla , what is the rule of 5 min? Mine is 7-th month now and we jog with him at the morning walk about 1 mile every day. Other way he will run and run and run and nothing can stop it.
@LordCannonTheVizsla3 жыл бұрын
@@МарияСорока-т1х they say you should walk them around 5mins per month of age each time you take them out. Think that’s more for walking on the pavement. Glad you enjoyed it. So I usually fill his Kong with light cream cheese with either chicken or beef and some veggies then I freeze it. I've just come across your simply lovely video. Congratulations! I shall now enjoy watching them all. We lost twelve-year-old Nelson in June to cancer. we had got Zoltan, a wire-haired version, three years earlier to lessen the inevitable blow of Nelson's end, which he did to a large extent. However at harvest time, Zoltan cut his paw pad on field stubble, and whilst at the vets, two Vizsla pups arrived for their injections. The owner said he was keeping the bitch but was going to find a home for the dog. I said "I think you've found it", and in September Ozskar, another smoothie, came to join us. He is six-months old and full of beans - as well as biro pens, tv controls, Christmas decorations, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Demanding of attention, yes, but repaying it by the bucketful. And Zoltan has become a doting "big brother". What a simply delightful breed!
