I don’t how old you are but I remember many times where I was mad at lessons my parents taught me at that moment. But I now remember them with gratitude and appreciated why they did it. It’s something that most everyone who was raised by caring parents go through when they start becoming independent.

@@jeffreycairns767🤦♂who is blaming everybody else??? no one was blaming anyone else?, i have 6 kids youngest is 16 i can 100% guarantee you does not matter how much you drill stuff into kids they will still do stupid things, and what i have learned the more you try and drill stuff into you`re kids the more chance they will end up doing it, that is why you need to keep a eye on who they are talking to where they are going what friend they are going with and if you dont know the people they are going with you make sure you end up finding out who they are,, this video was proving a huge point as so many parents dont do that stuff and let there kid do what they want and think they will be just fine

You're a great dad. I had 2 people show up in my frontroom a couple years saying they were there to pick up my disabled daughter. Needless to say I got the cops involved and told them I had a gun and if they try to take her I would stop them. Luckily they showed up and then we found out they from a Cult named Children of the Sun from a neighboring state. To this day I feel as I should've taken more drastic measures to insure the safety of others. These people deserve the worse possible punishment imaginable. Great Job, hopefully she learnes from this. ❤

I’m 36 and when I was in elementary/ middle school the internet was still pretty new and my parents ALWAYS told me don’t trust anyone online unless you actually know them in person and too never ever give out personal INFO and I tell my kids the same - I even had them watch some of the True Crime shows too show them how it could turn out

Martin, thank you so much for this video! My family have been watching your videos for a long time. We think you are hilarious! My kids are 8 and 10. We don't let them use social media and have already had to say no to cellphones a few times already. We have skirted around why they cant have social media so far, due to their age and not wanting to explain too much about the evils lurking in the world. Have just watched this video with them and it has really opened their eyes to how easy it is for bad people to trick you and the dangers of not knowing who your talking to. People can get your information from anywhere about where you grew up, schools you went to ect and use that against you. I totally agree with your dad Kacey. My daughter did the same thing at 15 by contacting someone online. She was going to meet up with them. Luckily I caught it on time and the police took her laptop. It turned out to be a paedophile ring stretching as far over as Belgium. She could have been taken from us. It is very scary. Please, anyone reading this, take caution when contacting someone you dont know on social media.
