Its been a year since I had chickens, we had a fox that had babies in the area and we were very concerned that our chickens would be killed like they were two years ago so I gave them to our daughter to keep for us

Your chickens have a nice place and the fencing looks predator proof. I have 4 youngsters and in theory they should start with laying eggs next month (if there is sun enough). Besides them I want some runner ducks too, they love snails and that is my biggest problem in the garden. Runner ducks could easily eat 100 snails a day, so I guess that would make a difference :)

I haven't had a dryer in over a decade. I have racks in a bedroom I can hang clothes, towels and the like. Sheets and quilts have to wait for a pretty day. You will find in winter with wood stove anything you hang up wet dries very quickly, at most denim jeans took 24 hours. I really miss that. my son has a dryer I can use but I prefer not to. The smell if fresh air and sunshine or natural air just can't be beat. Your daughters property is cute! Enjoyed seeing the chickens again. We just recently got 5 baby pigs. We no longer have goats. Still have chickens! Can't wait to see recipes out of your new cookbooks!! Thank you for all you do for us.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊

Nice that you all have nice land and your daughter has some land. Land is a blessing because property is expensive. we live in a townhouse but we got a good size yard because are in a corner town home. So only attached to one person. Land is so expensive here in AZ. I do think our property taxes are cheaper than some of the taxes in PA. I am sure it depends where in Pa probably.
