Janet Ann Scanlon Kudos to you! I have no expertise in this area, but I will share what Jesus did for me while an ER doc in a rural hospital years ago. Parents brought in a floppy newborn, 3 days old, who had to be septic on that basis alone. The prayers started at that moment. My only contact with newborns was a rotation in a surgery residency. Fortunately a nursery RN got an IV in. I suspected meningitis but had never done a pediatric LP and was not about to try one here. We did draw cultures and I called Children’s Hospital to send their critical care team to come for her. In the meantime, her color worsened and she became apneic as Rocephin was infusing, and I had to intubate this tiny creature never having done that in this age group, tho I knew the procedure. Jesus was with me as that tube slipped in more easily than the dozens I had done in adults. That little girl recovered (I heard that in follow up a year later). And I have so many other wonderful stories attributing all success to Christ Jesus, including the fact that 30 years later, I have never been sued.

A lady from my church had her baby and she didn’t breathe for 22 minutes straight. When the nurse sat the baby in moms chest mom began speaking in tongues. The baby sill wasn’t breathing they transferred baby and dad to children’s and mom stayed at the hospital. Even after not breathing for 22 minutes she has no brain damage and no medical problems that should cause a problem in the long run. GOD IS GOOD THAT BABY IS A MIRACLE!!
