Great memories. You missed out on Branco's Lookout in El Questro. You'll have to do it next time. Worth the visit and drive I reckon. Love the series.

Hey Sparkys, We did El Questro Gorge today- watched your vid last night as ‘prep’. Just gotta tell ya - people were having trouble climbing out of the half way pool. We just used your method - it got named the ‘bottom shuffle’. It was a hit! And became the method of the day! Thx for the hot tip 🤙 what a great walk and Gorge! Totally loved it 😃

Great video thanks, brings back all the memories from last when we did pretty much exactly the same route. At the deep crossing after we go across we watched two more cars come across, both hit the creek so hard they tore of their number plates 😳 looking fwd to the next clip

Big fan, Planning on doing a similar trip next year with my girlfriend and dog. I have a suggestion for your videos. Id love to see in the description a short write up of where your dog was during certain walks like the one you do half way through this video. Just so others can build an idea how to manage keeping there best mate with them easier. I know you say you keep him in the caravan alot but its just something that i think would personal help me and im sure others alot. thankyou! Keep up the awesome work!!
@Sparkysontheloose6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ben, there's really only two places she will be chilling and that's in her car seat/caravan ( if we haven't mentioned it in the video). We have done a dog tip video where we show her setup in the car. I think we may do another video about it soon just to explain it a little more in depth. For example where not to leave your dog tied up etc.

We got a ride into El Questro Gorge and walked out yucko the water crossing disgusting smelt like the cows had crossed it and left their leftovers in it...LOL You must have started the Gibb as we finished it starting the Derby side, they had started to grade it around Windjana turnoff and it was so rough from Kalumbaru Road, and got rougher going out from Home Valley to the Pentecost...
@Sparkysontheloose6 жыл бұрын
Yes we would agree it was a lot rougher around home valley area. Hope we didn't get any cow leftovers in our engine haha.

How did you go taking your dog on this trip? did you have any issues going to the parks?
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
Yes, a lot of point of interest didn't allow dogs but most camps allowed. We managed it as we have the caravan but otherwise it was pretty challenging. Depending on your dog's personality, it really reflects how easy or hard it can be.
@tonyanderson86575 жыл бұрын
Sparkys on the loose Thanks guys. No problem with dogs personality. We will be camping with ute and roof top tent which will make it harder. Do rangers Patrol to parks ?
@tonyanderson86575 жыл бұрын
We are planning on 5 or 6 days
@tonyanderson86575 жыл бұрын
We are planning on 5 or 6 days to go through from kunnunarra to broome. But looking at your vid that might not be enough
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
@@tonyanderson8657 there's only a couple of places that are national parks the rest is station leases. If you can't leave your dog with somebody I wouldn't recommend doing it. There are rangers which we did see and we don't encourage people to ignore the rules even though we believe they are silly rules. We only made it work cause we had the caravan that could be left at the stations/camps.

I love two of you on your fantastic videos. I see you tow caravan almost on the trips any corrugated on Gibb River Road or soft sand. Is that Offroad or Light Offroad caravan? How is suspensions (independent?) and your 4WD with Hankook MT tyres. Is that good tyre? How do you think about that tyre? Thank you.
@Sparkysontheloose4 жыл бұрын
Cheers Van, Its fully offroad, being 2005 it uses leaf springs but on a wishbone system so it acts like independent. Very good tyre, highly recommend for the price.

Don’t think our caravan will do the Gibb
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
Not many will, but you don't have to if you don't want to. Plenty of spots to leave the van and day trip in.
@eisbar73545 жыл бұрын
@@Sparkysontheloose I think we will visit El Questro by leaving our van at Kunanurra and day trip from there I reckon.
@Sparkysontheloose5 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's a wise choice. The road into el q wasn't that bad, it's short. You need a couple of days to enjoy the place.
