Our Disney Wish Cruise Day 2! | It's Pirate Night, Toy Story Splash Pad Fun & So Much Food!

Today’s vlog is day 2 of our Disney Wish Cruise! Today was a port day in Nassau but we opted to stay on the ship so we could explore a little more, meet some characters and play in the splash pad! We started the day by checking out the Oceaneer Club open house where we got to slide down the slide into the kid’s club area then we played in the all new toddler indoor playground, Mickey & Minnie’s Captain’s Deck. This area was a little underwhelming because Jackson is already a little too old for this playground but it’s geared towards kids 6 months to 3 years old. He had fun but it didn’t keep his attention for too long. Then we got to meet Spiderman in the Worlds of Marvel kids area, Jackson tried to do his best web shooting pose. Afterwards we grabbed a quick breakfast at Marceline Market and then Tim did some exploring around the pool deck while we played in the Toy Story Splash Pad and kiddie pool. We got some lunch at the Festival of Foods around the pool deck and got some ice cream from the Joyful Sweets ice cream and candy shop (these are all treats that are an additional cost). Then it was time for our Pirate Night dinner! We had dinner at 1923 but we won’t experience the actual non pirate-y menu until tomorrow. Our pirate meal was delicious though and Jackson was the cutest pirate on the whole ship (in my opinion!). There was no actual pirate show during dinner but we did head out on to the pool deck to see the Pirate in the Caribbean show with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy and more friends! The show is new-ish, we saw on our 7 day Disney Fantasy Cruise in May but they made some changes. Afterwards we saw the all new Pirates Parlay Party with Redd and Captain Jack Sparrow and a live band played while they set off the fireworks at sea! It was awesome!! My newborn son is my absolute favorite and never been so much in love in my life. We are up in Chicago burbs, so eventually in a few years we will do Disney the right way with him. Just want to say I have a newer admiration for your videos since we were aware of having a baby. We found out Thanksgiving day in 2021. And everything gas been amazing since that moment. Loved the Hero Zone, and sad to have missed the Incredicourse when it was going. Embarkation day, it was a great place to chill up on the upper section on the little pebble couches/chairs while waiting to shove off on this cruise. Captain Minnie and Pluto both stopped by to say hi to us!

Tim - as far as the music synchronizing so well with the fireworks, that’s done by having the band play to a click track (basically a metronome) that is lined up with the timecode for the fireworks. The click track is audible only in their in-ear monitors.

A deck 13!!! Yay! It just kind of annoys me that so many places won't have row 13, floor 13, etc because of superstitions.

Same! Fun story, this happened to me at a job once, where I had to get something signed asap by someone in another building on campus. I was told they were on floor 13, but it turned out to be called something else random in that building cause superstition about using the number 13. It was kinda a secure kinda place so when elevators have buttons with random codes on them, I don't guess lol Only one elevator went to that floor, and it was in some back corner somewhere. Was literally lost in a maze of staircases that went nowhere for an hour because people kept thinking I could get from A to B if I went certain ways (some of the buildings connected and people thought you might have to enter from another building) but nope. I'd never been so happy to find a place in my life when I finally found the office.
