Great makeover and a nice use of space. I especially like the idea of the round table to bring the room together and create a nice meeting space in the middle of the room. The light hack is also really interesting although I would suggest to take a look at something like an Aputure MC. Its a bit pricey but makes for a great practical light. Its pretty powerful, has an app control and could be easily taken out and used elsewhere for filming content. What I really dont like are the office chairs. The chair itself is very nice indeed. It seems like a modified version of a Vitra EA117 (which I love) but I feel like the chrome does not really fit inside the generel cozy wood vibe of the rest of the room. Anyway.. just my two cents ✌🏻

As a former interior designer and decorator, I think you made a warm, eclectic but chic, and functional space. Depending on needs, the only item I think that could be handy for multiple people working in the same room is either a folding divider wall or thick curtain or an area for one person to semi isolate & cut down on crossover noise if both are in meetings at the same time. You did a great balance while keeping it inviting for everyday use or having guests over. I'm sure as you utilize the space longer, you will find little tweaks or added ideas for your needs. Oh...and HELLO from the East Bay! Best if luck with your channel! My husband is just starting his own as a side hobby. I've never wanted my own channel but I have always thought it could be fun to do the behind the scenes stuff or be part of background/set design.

I love your makeover and this one especially. I love how to made the billy bookshelves look sophisticated by how you mix and match the shelves sizes, the plants and book. The green wall color is so relaxing too. The curtains made the room so dreamy just a place to pleasantly work and relax. Everything is in synergy. Loved the makeover!! Are you looking into any protection for your carpets with the office chairs rolling around? Also if you're recording a lot from the room, a few soundproof foam squares might be a good investment :))

Thanks so much!! We ended selling our printer and getting a smaller one that's currently tucked away under my fiance's desk. We are still loving our desk area and use the space every day for work 😊I find myself needing more storage though. One thing that's changed is that we've moved our vintage cabinet to the wall behind our door because it was in the way of our heater!
