Would be really interesting to see you guys cover finances during one of your chats. Do you have a budget for this trip, especially since you have so many big ticket items coming up in life (wedding, baby, building a home)? Do you ever argue about money or have different financial habits when you travel that causes conflict? I'm also planning some big ticket items with my long-term partner, as well as trying to have room for travel.

I’d love to see you come to West Virginia! It’s a place that’s not commonly explored by travel vloggers but it is beautiful! There so many opportunities for adventure in New River Gorge (which is the nation’s newest national park!) There’s also so many waterfalls, gorgeous hikes, and cute sustainable shops to explore here!

OH, man! Wish you could have stayed in Moab longer! We were there for 3 days a few years back. The national parks near there are breathtaking...Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point. And Moab is actually such a lovely town to stroll through, kinda touristy, but we ate at their local block of food trucks in town. So much fun and delicious! They also offer white water rafting and 4 x 4 off road tours. We hope to return someday, as we didn't have time to get all we wanted in, even after 3 days there!!

Please come to Gainesville! North Central Florida is subtropical forest, and I'd love to show you places like La Chua Trail, Devil's Millhopper, Sweetwater Wetlands, and the nearby springs off the Ichetucknee and Santa Fe Rivers! I have plenty of tubes, but I also really like renting hybrid kayaks for the Santa Fe. I feel like you'd have plenty to explore in my area, and because I work part-time at a library/am in grad school, I have some schedule flexibility, am fully vaccinated and would love to connect! It would also be worth it to visit St. Augustine for the history and the beaches, especially if you've never been, plus it's less than two hours away. I know it'd a bit of a cul-d-sac to drive down into Florida, but if you head this way, I'm here and open for adventure.

If you make here it to New Orleans, check out the abandoned Jazz Land theme park. I recommend going early on a weekend morning! Also Holt Cemetery - most cemeteries here are above ground because of flooding, but this is one of the few places where people are buried below ground. It's a potter's field with beautiful homemade grave markers and a historically black cemetery where some of the greatest originators of jazz are buried.
