White House on the Hill what about the mandarine ducks?
@barbarashotts55985 жыл бұрын
White House on the hill, Nice fine, cattle tank. After awhile the standing water in the tank will get small bugs (mosquito larvae) and might turn green with algae get some minnows they will eat the bugs, and algae, the fishes with do just fine without a bubbler.helps keeps the water cleaner. I did this with all my tanks, it works!!!!! (NO GOLD FISH).

Kids learn a lot of responsibility living on a farm. My 5 yr old could single handedly milk our goat, feed the birds and goats, pluck a meat bird etc. Kids need to be energetic and outside (definately better than sitting in front of a phone or tv all day)

@@whitehouseonthehill good my parents did the same and it gave me so many life skills when i moved out by myself, teaching kids early is a blessing, but to be honest i was forced 😂 i would rather play with friends but now i really appreciate i can, cook, set up electricity and lights, and alot of skills in wood work and building with wood. Thanks for the update on your new home. It’s looking great! You guys have all been working hard. Got the helpers learning all of these skills, too! It’s so great to see the boys help you with projects. 🤗 Putting in all that fencing is no joke. When we moved out here to the country, we had them include the back yard fencing (about an acre,) in the cost of the house because we knew we wouldn’t be able to do it ourselves. Ours is similar-that heavy duty hog wire. All we had to do was stain/seal it. That was hard enough! We were all super sore, and managed by drowning our achy muscles in Epsom salt baths. I should take stock in that stuff! 😂 Hang in there!

Thought the shade cloth would go across the top corners of their pen that get the afternoon sun. Then they'd have a set of trianglular areas of shade if they want. Not sure what a vertical shade wall will do except for semi-privacy. Is the pasture gate high enough to drive a pickup truck under if you need to? Your kids sure get their ration of exercise.
