Fresh local beef you can buy from local wet market only in the morning... Cheaper..in supermarket they usually sell imported meat from AUS or NZ.

I'm not sure about wet market near KT's place but there is Pasar Tani in SP town centre (near Fire Station) selling fresh local beef. I think it's open on Sunday.

We're lucky because in Malaysia we have a lot of celebrations. We even have Bon Odori. Hopefully from time to time Tourism Malaysia can organize festivities from other regions of Asia as well. Malaysia truly Asia.

Isn't it nice to have a proper mart like Sunway in SP. Not big, just a proper mall. Actually, many years ago, before Aman Central in AS, SP was supposed to have the biggest mall in Kedah at Puteri Jaya but later scrapped. Then we were supposed to have Aeon Mall at a piece of land across the F&B Drive-Thru area near Amanjaya - also scrapped. Luckily, SP is very near to BM, Butterworth, Pg, etc ( 30min - 1hr drive ). Anyway, I'm hearing they are building a mall near Metro Specialist Center now.

There is always free vegetarian food given to visitors at Indian & Chinese Buddhist Temples during their respective festival celebration. Feel free to help yourself.

Buddhism originates from India. Therefore you will see some Chinese Buddhists participating in Thaipusam, especially carrying the "kavadi". Conversely, you will also see Indian Hindus involved in some Chinese temple activities/celebrations. In Singapore, there is even shared temple space for Indian Hindus & Chinese Buddhists. Very common to see Hindu & Buddhist temples located in the same area/neighbourhood in Malaysia. An example is the famous Indian Temple in Kuala Lumpur Chinatown area. Right across it on the same road is a Chinese Temple.
