Thank you for sharing! I'm hoping to visit it too. Just wondering if you saw the large rolls of suran wrap we get in Canada there?
@Miu_Tube15 күн бұрын
I don’t remember seeing it, but I would be surprised if they didn’t have it. The Kirkland saran wrap is a Costco staple!

Wow, what is this, god of Costco? So many good staffs, and are so inexpensive.

Just curious, do costco in china have pharmacy ?
@Miu_TubeАй бұрын
I did not see a pharmacy in the Costco Shenzhen. But I believe some other Costcos in China may have a pharmacy.

@Miu_Tube Just asking. In Canada, there is a pharmacy in every Costco

Cantonese is native to Guangdong province. Cantonese speakers that you heard are probably not from Hong Kong.
@Miu_TubeАй бұрын
just my guess that those speaking Cantonese are from HK as even though it’s the native language of Guangdong province, it’s pretty rare to hear it spoken in Shenzhen.
@JeffnvzАй бұрын
There are differences in accents and words, for example, the word you, in Guangdong, pronounce Nei, in Hongkong pronounce lei. You know when you hear it if you're local. And this is Shenzhen, not Guangzhou, most people are from other provinces. She just doesn't explain it too detailed.

I see your logic, but from what I heard and experienced while being out there, Shenzhen is a migrant city (Just a small fishing village a few decades ago) with Chinese from all over, so although there are locals who would probably speak Cantonese, it is not as widely spoken in Shenzhen as it may be in Guangzhou or HK.

@@drboy330 Yes, Shenzhen is a migrant city. But the Cantonese-speaking people there would probably come from nearby cities/towns instead of HK.
