Yeah it's supposed to be in the Jamaican Scotch bonnet most of them were yellow and green when I ordered it but I had like two of them that were chocolate I don't even see no pepper or no one this year that even have it I have saved the seeds but then I lost the seeds man the flavor was insane

The labels look like chalkboard labels or vinyl stickers. Those can be removed without a trace and often come with a chalk pen for writing. I use them for my spice jars.

@BrokenCurtain Yep totally agree with you, the stickers do come right off, and we love the chalk pens! Nice idea to use them for labeling your spice jars!

@daveholt640011 ай бұрын
why make scotch bonnet sauce but deseed? The whole point of Scotch bonnet is HEAT. :) thanks for the recipe!
@PandJsHomesteadAdventure11 ай бұрын
Hi Dave! We love the heat and the taste of the scotch bonnet pepper. Not all of our friends and family can handle or enjoy the hotsauce when the seeds are left in. If you love that extra heat, go for it! Usually we only make one small batch with the seeds in. Its fire..but good! Let us know how you like it! If you give it a try! Sweet smooth and spicey! You may want to check out our scotch bonnet pineapple salsa on top of cream cheese! Our favorite! TY for commenting and watching! -P & J

@@PandJsHomesteadAdventure got it! LOL. My friends just get it hot. LOL I used to use fresh mangos in a mango-habanero hot sauce I make. But it's hit&miss on getting the mangos ripe (and a lot of work to peel/cut). So I moved to using canned alphonso mango pulp from Indian Grocery Stores. That allows me to make big batches with consistent results. I think Scotch Bonnets would be even better than Habaneros, so kudos on that! The cloves is an interesting twist but seems like a nice flavor for fall!
@PandJsHomesteadAdventure11 ай бұрын
It really is amazing! Using ripe sweet mango is definitely important in this recipe, and the clove is perfect! The color is amazing too! Makes great Christmas gifts!

Fresh mango or can you use frozen?
@PandJsHomesteadAdventure Жыл бұрын
You can use fresh or frozen, just defrost the frozen fruit before making the hot sauce. 😁
