Perhaps you don't have to react to it but i would highly recommend watching the side missions for the supporting characters. They really flesh out those characters and made me love them even more

Love the content guys. Ghost of Tsushima is a fan favorite and a special game to me. I'm glad you took the time to check it out, but I feel like you guys are missing on some character development with the other companions. Y'all didn't saw the revenge of Lady Masato against their family killers. Y'all didn't saw what happened with sensei Ishikawa student Tomoe. You missed the story of Norio and the warrior monks. Y'all didn't saw the legendary tales that showed some of Jin's techniques, armors and equipment. And what about the DLC??

Again, Jin is behind the enemy lines beyond the main gates towards the Khan's stronghold poisoning and assassinating soldiers left and right very stealthy. At the same time, Lord Shimura appears in the front gates alone,"MONGOLIAAAAAANS!!! Reveal yourself and face me with your most deadliest Warriors!!! With courage and honor!!!!" Only to get an arrow shot up his as hole🤣🤣🤣.

To me, this wasn't the "alternate" ending - it was the only true ending. Shimura lived every moment of his life by some code of honour or other. Not to give him an honourable death was forcing him live with the dishonour.

To me the real true ending is NOT killing him because the whole point of the story is kind of thinking for yourself and choosing your own path and not just blindly following along with the tradition and blindly obeying what your told to do. Shimura wanted to die a warriors death at the hands of his nephew/son, but fck what he wants, the whole story we made our own choices and chose our own path and defied the traditional path and the traditional ways just to say ok fine whatever you say unc and do the worst thing of all and kill him in the end? Helll nawww!😂 It’s simple “I won’t kill my family” idc what the tradition says, fck the samurai ways, it’s like I will always be a samurai in my heart even if yal try to take that title away from me, but I will not just blindly follow the code and go against my own morals and break my own code of what’s right and wrong. I will stay true to what I know to be right in my heart even if it goes against everything I’ve been taught since day one. This story is sooo good man, super relatable and relevant to so much real life things even til this day we living in now! Love this game man it’s like a movie!! But u feel even more immersed and invested when you actually experienced and literally fought to accomplish everything and defeat everyone and get through it!! 10 out of 10 mastapiece!!

Honestly, you could easily argue that Jin doesn't compromise his beliefs by giving Shimura what he wants. Shimura would either have to kill himself for his failure or would be executed. Jin followed the exact same way of thinking mere months prior. Jin knows how his uncle is trapped in the ways their society dictates. To spare him, out of love or spite, condemns him to a worse fate where he would be disgraced and dishonored, and all the good he did for peace and order would be wiped away. Also, the white color scheme for the ghost armor is sick as hell!
