Hello there! I went through ivf after finding out I had stage 4 endo and struggling to get pregnant for a couple years. I was very young and it was quite traumatic to go through our fertility journey but I am so thankful that fertility treatments and procedures exist! I have two children now and one frozen embryo left if we choose to have another little one 💜

I went through ivf at the age of 39 after. We tried it 3 times and then we decided to stop the treatment because it was too hard for my body. So we searched for other alternatives. Surrogacy was forbidden in Germany at that time so we decided to adopt a child. It was the best decision we ever made. My son was 1day old when he came to us and now he is 9 years old. We are so thankful and happy. You are still young it will work and if not there are a lot of alternatives.

Wishing you the best of luck! I was lucky enough to work for a hospital where employees have our IVF procedures 100 percent free. I only had to pay the coinsurance for the drugs which was around 3,500$. I did one round and got 24 embryos but in the end only 1 made it to genetic testing. I was devastated. Now I have a 3 year old beautiful son! It just takes one good embryo sometimes!

Hearing the cost of IVF in the USA I’m so grateful that you can get 2 or 3 for free in Sweden. I had no idea of the money going in to it! Really hoping this works out for you 💕

I was diagnosed with endo at 25, hysterectomy a few years later. I was told early on that I'd never get pregnant. I was fine with it though, never wanted children. But this infertility stuff breaks my heart when I see couples like you and Ryan. So many prayers for you both

Watching this while I burp my sweet baby boy who is just over 5 weeks. I went through years of Thyroid meds, Clomid, and ovulation tests. 3 IUIs, 2 rounds of IVF meds, 2 egg retrievals and 2 embryo transfers. After 3 years, it happened. Stay positive, it can be a long process but it will be worth it!

Also for anybody reading you can write an appeal letter to your insurance (if you feel up to it) explaining in detail with doctors notes and such why you believe you should get coverage. Ask for what you want and a back up and what you’ll do if they say no. And in some cases, even if your insurance doesn’t cover ivf, you might get some reimbursement 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

You absolutely right-learning this information about yourself is very devastating and yes you go thru stages: broken heart crying, accepting, setting up positivity and being grateful for the support. Universe has her own plan for each one of us, so just stay cool and positive. Please read "it starts with the egg", she had low ovarian reserve and changed it so she became normal just through her diet and supplements. It is so educational you will not regret reading this book.

Hi guys, wish you a lot of luck with fertility journey. Altough I´m so sorry about the costs, which makes this journey so inaccessible for the majority of people in USA. I live in Germany, and as far as I know, 1 round of IVF costs about 3000 Euro inclusive medication (ca.3400 USD I think), and half of the costs will be paid (for the first 3 rounds) by our general insurance which everyone has from law. I´m very sorry that there medical centers there make it a huge business instead of willing to help people to have kids which is essential for society. You could maybe plan to spend some month(s) in the future in Europe, do the treatment here and save x amount of money.

Dear Ashley, watching your video brings me back to my personal experience with IVF. I went through the same experiences as you, but here (Spain) the egg retrievel is without anestesia. For me, the first round was quite "easy" too, but the second and third round was quite painful but that does not mean that I will be for you the same way. Please, don't be sad about just having one embryo. Keep being positive. That helps, although I know that it is not always easy specially with all the hormone overflow in your body.
