Can someone please explain to me why I'm all teary eyed about a boat I've never been on, a dog I've never cuddled, and 2 people I've never met? 😥 Again, thanks so much guys. It's been a lot of fun to be along with you.

Not gonna lie, I’m sad to see this journey come to an end. I was really looking forward to seeing Pivot and crew exploring the Bahamas and beyond. You guys have done an incredible job documenting your loop( probably the best on KZbin). I wish you safe travels and hope you find your way back to the water someday.

This would not be the best boat for open water sailing, it’s a brown water Trawler. The. Boat simply isn’t made for it. A bigger boat, made for blue water would be better. Or a sailboat.

Your videos were an important part of motivating us to leave our lives and jobs and get out here. We’re sitting in Lake Champlain, 3700 miles from home, waiting on weather. What people don’t always get from the videos is really how hard this is. Every single day you’re dealing with something different. Yes there are beautiful sunsets, but more days when the weather is bad, or you’re repairing something. This is no place for soft people or lazy people. We’ll finish on the Tennessee River in October, and I’m not sure what our emotions will be, but at least one will be relief, another pride of our accomplishment. I don’t want to jinx it. On our 1972 Gulfstar 36, Rock n Roll!

Having had multiple boats from 14’ to 46’, two RV trailers and one Class B van, I can say without hesitation that the learning curves and challenges we’ve encountered with boating have always far exceeded any we ever had while RV-ing. You will certainly have many triumphs and tribulations in “van life” with PIVOT II, but I doubt any will ever approach the astounding growth you’ve experienced as you went from being completely clueless to becoming competent and confident boaters. It has been entertaining and inspirational watching you, and your waterborne adventures will be greatly missed by your legions of followers. Instead of fair winds and following seas, I’ll wish you uncrowded roads and happy boondocking! ❤

I have been following you since day 1 and am so proud to have watched your growth. You have faced every challange with a positive attitude and conquered whatever life threw at you. I am so proud of Jen and the way she overcame her fears. I will miss you both but will still keep in touch as you move on to the next adventure. I am just sorry that I missed you when you were in the Chesapeake Bay. You are both an example of how couple should work together to reach your life goals. Hopefully some day we will get to meet in person instead of just through comments. Stay well.

A sad, emotional episode. But, you guys have much to be proud of. You went from banging into pilings in the first video, to flawless single handed cruising. We are in the process of "moving aboard" our boat. As we work toward finishing the renovation of our 57 year old Woodie. Much excitement, anxiety, and consternation about the adventures ahead. Good luck in your future adventures. I'm confident that we will see you out on the water again, at some point in the future. Once you've got the sea in your blood, you can never get it out.

I remember finding your channel because we are interested in doing The Loop someday. We have loved following your journey and watching your confidence and skills grow as you navigated Pivot through your many adventures. We laughed and felt somewhat deflated when we only just discovered it wasn't happening in "real time" when you got to Chicago and said something about what year it was. 🤣Nonetheless, we found your channel to be endearing and informative and the best content on America's Great Loop we've been able to find! I remember many times saying (in my best puppy mommy voice) "Oh, Ollie's a good girl! Ollie's a good boat dog!" 😍So watching this last video with tears in my eyes did not surprise me because you struck a chord in my heart while you took us on your journey. You provided the things we never knew we needed until we had them...the love, the boating, the adventure, the courage, the triumphs, and the dolphin loving puppy, that got us through these past few years. All because you decided to Pivot! 💕

Oh man, this final chapter in your lives of your time on The Loop and aboard Pivot brought tears to my eyes. It was tough for me to sell River Breeze since it was my dad's final bucket list item as life would have it. I know it has to be hard for you all to say goodbye to Pivot after all you did aboard her. I do wish you all the best in the next chapter of your lives. Taking that broken down boat on the hip to get them back to a boat ramp was the way to go. I aided several small boats in the time we had River Breeze, always taking them in tow on the hip. The part of the St. John's south of Palatka, I know well. For a few years, I kept my 22' pontoon boat at the Boat Tree Marina just north of Lake Monroe and Sanford. Too bad it did not work out for you to get to Sanford. I hope that Jenn's grandmother has now recovered from the illness she suffered back on Memorial Day Weekend. Well guys, do take care. All the best with your van conversion project. I know it will go well, you are determined and highly capable people. May God Bless! ❤ It has been over a year since this took place. Did Pivot get sold in the subsequent time since then? I don't see it on any of the online boat broker sites.
