I just got my first 1/16th scale. The Hosim hyper go which is the same as this. It's funny how tiny these 1/16 trucks are in person. Its hard to judge scale of them on video. I like how I can throw it in a backpack and throw it in the truck and run anytime the opportunity comes up 👍🏻

I got a different one It can go through water mud I ran it through a Deep salt water puddle where it was floating at the bay it only needed to dry out and then it worked again and it goes through snow very well it had a little bit of rust on the springs but it still ran very smooth like out of the box it wasn’t the brushless version

Boom! First! I have the hyper go,same truck. They are quick and tough little rigs. Mine came with two 3s lipos. Cut the rib off tge battery hold down arm and you can fit other lipos.

Your editing is tops Evan! that box into the wall was wicked cool! I think foams in the wheels would help a bit along with heavier oil in the shocks. At the Same time, I don't really believe these things were made to survive this kind of repetitive abuse with out something breaking or giving out. After all, they are just toys in the end. Yes , some fair better than others as you so often show us. Its great knowing that the part support is there, so one can break, repair and repeat over and over and over again.😂😆 this my friend to me is still a wicked impressive rc for what it costs. You do an exceptional job of testing the tolerances of these things! I value mine and what they cost ( even when their cheap) to beat'em this hard but , hey... someones got to do it and your one of the best!💫👍💪

I just got the hosim varient of this today and noticed the ESC acts exactly like the MJX 14301 where it has a delay on throttle with some other quirky on or off feeling bits. Think im gonna try to go with wider wheel spacers and 1/10 scale tires to help stability/bouncing when it lands and swap in a hobbywing 60A? Not positive yet as reviews seem conflicting.

1/16 is little too small, 1/12 is ok, I've got my Flyhal fc610 and it's very good, today comes oil 800cst for landing on concrete 😁 Cheers!

Another fun video! My Hosim mini Outcast looking truck has foams in the tires. I can see them thru the little vent hole. I don't think they are very thick tho. I agree that its too bouncy on landings. I've tried different weight oils and different shocks. I think the stock shocks are too short. I have some of the all metal HBX shocks for their 16th scale truck on order. Gonna fill those with 70 weight and give them a try. Have you seen the new HyperGO rally car and Infraction looking speed truck yet? I'm really interested seeing you get those on the channel.

@@DerbyCityRC Those HBX upgrade shocks are a go. Way less bounce now... although I haven't jumped mine as high as you do. They are longer so much more ground clearance than stock. The quality over the stock ones is outstanding. They really are all metal even the rod ends and bottom spring retainer. Even came prefilled with oil with no air air in them and no leaks at all so far which I'm super happy about.

That is a nice little truck, def see why it's priced a bit higher. I finally took the Hbx 903a apart that was clicking. The grub screw on the input gear had backed off about a turn and a half, making the input gear and spur loose. The input gear is chewed up bad but I think the dif is ok, no fluid in it tho. Don't look like those diffs seal up very well any way but there is a very small set screw on the gear case, do you know what that is for? I thought maybe to add oil or grease without removing the 4 screws and opening the case.

Nice! Yes that little set screw is there so you can pull the pin out for diff cup removal. There’s not enough space to get the pin pulled out of the diff cup shaft so you have to slide it out of the hole when you remove that set screw.

Grandson has one of these. After much use , the suspension( A-arm) screws have broken. I have tried to fix, but the plastic has broken( where the screw hole is) and not sure how to repair

I just received my first MJX hyper go, put of the box after charging and testing different battery, it won’t run when put on the floor, hesitates with cracking noise but goes instantly if I hold it up and wheels not touching the ground. Is it damage?

Oh no! Double check that all the wiring is plugged in properly and that the battery is charged. Be sure the throttle is turned up on the controller. Otherwise yes it may be faulty. 😢
