You can really see the evolution of their rapping skills, flow, and even attitude towards their haters. By the last cypher, they’re basically saying you can keep on hating us but we don’t care what you say to us anymore because they’ve matured and grown. They’ve learned that the haters are just hating to hate. At the end of Suga’s verse in Pt. 4 he says “Please be healthy”, a literal mic drop. If there’s anything I’ve learned from these cyphers, it’s that RM disses you with his fancy and complex wordplay and flow, J-hope disses you by flexing his unique style and flow, and Suga straight up disses you without a care in the world.

He is a writer/composer/producer. He was a trainee supposed to debut in BTS in the early days when they were supposed to be a hip-hop group to match YG Entertainment’s 1TYM but then the company noticed fresher traditional idols were far and few, then members were shuffled in and out and BTS turned into the more idol group concept, and so he found out they were going idol concept he left the company to go with a hip-hop company named Brand New Music, and he joined a hip-hop group called DaeNamHyup. That consisted of 9 members (including RM). After all that was over, he rejoined BigHit as a producer. People dont really mention himexcept for songs and stuff and don't really talk about him much anymore because he said stuff about BTS a while back and he wrote r*pe fantasies. He is kinda labelled as a non-feminist and has made some bad comments in the past. Some of his supporters say that's only bc of the people he hangs around. He has social media but isn't really active and he reposts articles abt BTS success. He's a pretty important background guy for BTS and him and the rapline have known each other before BTS. The SUGA part in part 3 is not wrong translation. Talking about him and how his great "Flow Job" turnins people on and his tongue making people come whether they are a guy or girl is all his writing, just like in the track Agust D where he talks about his tongue technology. I love how SUGA isn't scared to put whatever he wants into his lyrics. He is raw and savage, open, real, vulnerable in all his lyrics and a great great rapper when it comes to technique, speed, flows it's all great and me who comes from mainly listening to rock/metal and old punk really like appreciate SUGA.

The cyphers started to allow them to express themselves against the hate, specially received by other Korean rappers who would make fun of Namjoon and Yoongi for becoming idols and “selling out.” 16:04 Yeap, that’s exactly what Yoongi meant. The translation in the video is slightly wrong. These cyphers in a general statement are more or less Yes about the haters but more so for the underground rappers who hated on them during their come up for wanting to be kpop idols.Idk if y’all remember but most of the rapline were in underground hip hop groups for a very long time and when they decided they wanted to be in a kpop group,a lot of “rappers” turned on them.When suga says “back back to the basic” and “On insta your gang gang” he’s basically saying that they’re all the same and are cosplaying as rappers by trying to be the Traditional ig rappers in the U.S with the flashy money and etc.these underground rappers were cosplaying and speaking on rap culture and saying what is and what’s rap as if it was there’s to speak on which it obviously wasn’t…rap is Black culture and no one gets to bend around it and make up their own rules a rapper is a rapper it doesn’t matter if they wear makeup,dance and even are feminine.All of these things do not take away from your ability to rap and these are the reasons they got the most hate because obviously every kpop group gets dolled up and they do wear makeup for the camera 🤷🏽‍♀️.

He was supposed to be part of original BTS member but left bcs BTS, who was originally a hip hop group with no dancing, changed the concept bcm an idol. But he stays in company and become a producer. So, to answer the question of who is Supreme Boi- He is actually long time friends with RM/Namjoon, they often rapped together in a group of other friends(this group included Zico before he joined a company). After RM got offered a trainee position on the spot from the founder of HYBE/formerly BigHit Ent. Supreme boi auditioned and made it. Then Suga joined and there were other trainees. Then J-hope joined. After that the idea of what the group would be started to shift, since dance was now possible. With the adition of Jin and JK it changed and supreme boi decided he'd rather be a producer. He has producing credits for all 4 cycphers as well as many other BTS songs and even the rapline's solo work/mixtapes and albums. He's still a producer for HYBE and has worked with other groups under HYBE Labels. He always is willing to help out BTS when they need/want his help though. Also a lot of these translations are not accurate- or they're not worded exactly right. Doolsetbangtan is the site ARMYs use for the most reliable song translations as Doolset also explains the korean references/wordplay/slang/ and such. so that one part where people think he said 'whether guy or girl my tongue will make you come' it's not completely untrue.. the wording is different though. What he actually said- translated is- "My flexible tongue movement that makes people reach orgasm with my rap, men and women alike" that's the more precise translation. He's doubled down in a few of the cyphers about his tongue skills (His rapping and his voice) being so amazing and powerful that they 'take you to hong kong'. So in Korea, taking someone to Hong Kong means to make someone orgasm. INFO: Need to keep in mind there are pretty much 3 layers to BTS rap, you have the group rap, then you have the rap line - like the cypher series, then you have the solo tracks like RM - Joke, Agust D (suga) - Agust D, and Jhopes - more or arson. You have a subtle dig at haters with the group, bolder with the rap line, then gloves are off with solo songs. Moreso with RM & Suga as there history goes back further with rap and had more direct attacks by the haters...
