Yes, I agree kids do pick up on parents' stress. My God baby's mom was dealing with a lot and she could never get her down to sleep. I would take her and talk to her and rub her back and off she went. As far as the cold goes I'm a little disappointed you'll didn't move to Las Vegas I was looking forward to you'll coming! It gets easier with multiple kids because you know what to do. How crazy did you get? Lol
