Pandemic fatigue is an understatement 🥺 i was in hospital for a week and couldn’t wait to come home. Got home and within days I felt like I’d just swapped one prison for another 🤦🏼♀️ couldn’t get out walking due to my recovery but can as of tomorrow I can! Actually excited to be going over the door 🤗 On a happy note I got my Covid jab today ( I’m only 52 but had breast cancer last year so still in the vulnerable list) ... light at the end of a long tunnel! You guys just keep me going! ❤️

I was furloughed for 6 months, I won’t lie it was nice at first, summer off with the kids but then I started to get fed up, anxious, worried about money and eventually got made redundant. I was lucky to find another job within two months and since starting I feel so much better mentally! I have routine and structure to my day. I’m busy working from home, join online meetings and my days pass quickly so I’m not minding lockdown so much. The toughest thing is trying to home school aswell when my husband is out working too. My mum and dad both got their first vaccine this week, hopefully there is now light at the end of the tunnel.

We’ve been working from home since March, lockdown 3 seems so much harder especially as we now have to support the kids with on line learning. I’ve switched my hours so I can help the kids 8-12 then start work at 12-6, then finish, have tea, reset the table for home school, tidy up, chill for a bit then bed and repeat. Some days o don’t even manage to get out of the house

Got to admit this lockdown isn’t bothering me at all, we don’t really go out all the time when it’s normal only to the shops so nothing is really different. And I can honestly say we’ve never had a delivery throughout it all. We have a lovely wood next to where I live so have been going on a walk with my nieces and nephew every now and again and looking for painted rocks. My parents have had their first jab waiting to hear when they have their next one. Xx

Have you thought about moving the microwave off the fridge? As quite a dense black item that might add to the corner feeling dark?? Maybe if that was moved to where the coffee machine/hot water/slow cooker are and those dispersed elsewhere it might feel brighter? Those things could go on the other side of the sink or on shelves made above the toaster?? Just a thought x

My mom (she's 93) has had both of her vaccinations now. Where I live they asked everyone who haven't got symptoms to have a Covid test, which I did yesterday and with in 30 minutes I had a text telling me I was negative. They are hoping to find people who haven't got symptoms but do have Covid so they can isolate to prevent the spread. Apparently our latest report shows that the number of people with Covid has now dropped by a third. Hopefully if we all stick to the rules we may be lucky enough to have a chance of getting some kind of summer. Take care. xx

Yay...glad your family is getting the vaccine. Hope Your dad gets his call soon. I’m from California and both my parents got their first vaccine dose. They are scheduled for the 2nd on the 18th. So relieved for them. I work in social services and go to work everyday. Thank God I have been safe and healthy. Knock on wood. 🙏Waiting to get my vaccine too. Until then, doubling up my masks and keeping my distance. Stay safe! Love from Cali 😘

I’m working from home, that is helpful to keep a routine but I do struggle at weekends with keeping busy and being stuck inside but make sure i go for a daily walk. My mum had to shield in the first lockdown and they are now saying she isn’t so vulnerable (which is good obviously) but she doesn’t get prioritised for the vaccine so hopefully she doesn’t have to wait too long

This lockdown is definitely more difficult. I'm a huge introvert and actually loved the previous lockdowns as I enjoy staying home but even I'm getting fed up now. I find myself being constantly tired even though I'm not doing anything. Like Nick said I think it's because there's nothing stimulating my mind!

To be honest I’m doing really well throughout this lockdown, it’s when the spring/ summer comes that I would struggle more, I’m walking more than ever then with the house work and cooking tea followed by watching you two I can’t complain, my days are filled, like Nick says grin and bear it lockdown won’t be forever, x

Had the 1st vaccine, but my 2nd shot was cancelled due to supply. Originally told 2nd shot was to be 21 days after 1st, but interesting enough that has been change to 35-42 days after original. Interesting how rules change! Work in healthcare in Canada. Stay safe.

In front of the fridge, you could put hooks on the walls to store your pans.. hung by the handles, so they’re flat against the wall and will free up space in a cupboard or drawer?

After working at home for almost a year now together with my partner we actually do hardly anything anymore after we logged off from work. It's way harder now in the winter tbh. And really getting sick of working home. If this keeps on going and we can go on holliday we might just work half days from there. Imagine, getting a hotel in Orlando for like 4 or 5 weeks and have a work/holliday mix. Work 4 hours in the mornings and have the rest of the day off.

I have been working from home since the week before lockdown I quite like it without the hour’s commute either way. I do miss not seeing my friends at work. Glad to hear your family are getting vaccinated Leigh. I just keep thinking the more people that get vaccinated the closer we get to being vaccinated. Then we can get back to spending time with our families and get back to a more normal life.

I know there are a number of other meal services in the US that aren’t anywhere else, like Home Chef and Blue Apron, but Hello Fresh is really the only one I know of that is in both the US and the UK. I don’t know much about any others. We don’t have a nationwide lockdown in the US, but I am trying to stay home as much as possible. I know this doesn’t help Nick, but I do read a lot, and I also watch videos and TV shows. I should do a lot more straightening up and housecleaning than I do.

Here in northern California our strict restrictions just eased a bit from being in place from December 6th. OMG our first date was similar with me yacking on non stop and him not opening his mouth. Cant get him to shut up now. Together for 44 years married for 42.

I have worked throughtout every lockdown and my only out is my walking, but this lockdown is harder because the only walking I can do is on pavements as its too wet to walk any nature trails, and I tend to walk early doors before work or after work so its always dark. Even I am getting bored of walking the same places day in day out.
