Good call on calling for help and staying nearby! Also, liquid IV FTW!! As usual, great video!

Thank you so much my friend! Ya, those liquid IVs come in handy in many situations. Especially after a little too much 🍷🍺 the night before! AHAHAHHAHA Or so I’m told. 😉. Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃

This was such a fun film to make for Driving Line / Nitto! Big thanks to the Nitto team for trusting me to make their first Overlanding With Driving Line video! Stay till the end to see how this video about extreme heat really became a life-threatening situation for a young family!! Thank you to everyone involved in the rescue/recovery! 🙏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼

Great video Greg!! I can't say I've camped anywhere over 95 degrees, can't imagine 108!! Cool collaboration 👍

Awesome video Greg! Very cool you were able to come to the rescue of that family, not something you expect when you are out on the trails - but good that you were there in that extreme heat. Love that water bottle...gonna have to get me one! 👍

Liftime desert dweller here (AZ). I go camping to get OUT of the heat. Can't imagine camping in 108. Not pleasant.

Ya, there was some definite misery related to the temps - but, I knew what I was getting into. I’d do it all over again! 😁😁 Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃

Awesome video Greg! I stayed in that exact same camp spot earlier this year. Beautiful spot and place….It was a challenge in 90 degree heat back in May. I can imagine your trip, you gave great info. I need to find that misting water bottle 👍🏼

Oh, that’s so cool! Ya, that spot is SO AMAZING! 🎉 Ya, it was HOT 🥵 indeed! I think the max that day was only 108 though. I was hoping for something in the 115 range. But it was awesome nonetheless! Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃

Thanks buddy! Ya, it was crazy - the situation felt surreal being that the whole reason for me to be out there was to overcome the danger. Little did I know I’d be rescuing someone else here! So glad everything worked out. 💯 Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃

Hahahha, actually it’s just filmed on my iPhone 14 PRO Max. 😃😃😃 and, edited too on the phone. 📱 but I get what you mean, when it’s edited together there’s a lot of cuts while talking. 👊🏼😃 Thanks for watching and for the comment! I really appreciate it!🙌🏼🙏🏼👊🏼😃

Oh, and also filmed with my drone. Forgot about that. 😃

Why wouldnt u just drive over there to check it out. Like calling an off road recovery group is so dramatic u are in a super modified vehicle, that is modified specifically for this situation lol
@TrailNewbie4 ай бұрын
Great point! My drone was pretty far away when I saw the Tundra - and the area the vehicle was in is pretty tight, more suited for side-by-sides. In hindsight, if I had known there were people in there, I would have gone first thing. But, it looked abandoned so I shifted toward it being an off road recovery instead of a rescue. I called it in thinking it would just be reporting it - and some organization would come recover it. But when I had downloaded my drone footage between phone calls and saw the people in there - I went back out within 10 mins or so. It took a couple hours to get them out of there safe, but I get what you mean. Definitely would have just gone back in there had I known 💯 Thanks for watching and for the note! Cheers! TN
