Well done!! I'd love to hear you do a voice over of your tests and let us know anything you can remember about how it felt to ride each movement and the score/comment given! (As well as being able to see what the judge was seeing!) Looking so super! xxx

I've just watched this recent vlog... I remember commenting on the sj vlog . The one with those anxious feelings when going to a sj competition, etc, and I remember saying to you, "You shouldn't be feeling like this ! Competing them is meant to be fun! But you just looked deflated and so very anxious 😟 and you were also feeling very sick at the time, and although a little nerves are normal, yours back then weren't normal at all they were very extreme and I actually felt for you so I felt like I had to say to you that "maybe sj just wasn't for you and Vossy as a partnership" and you totally agreed. Well, seeing this new vlog is like watching a different rider!! The smiles from the get-go were a true indication that dressage is right for you, and the results prove that ! Well done, I'm super chuffed for you! And that smile is what competing is all about! Well done for recognising you and your boy needed that change 👏 and it's definitely paying off 👏 xxxx

Well done!! The transition from Unaffiliated to affiliated can be daunting, you did a good job with him! I'm not sure who told you they won't penalised you if you break out of canter but pick it back up immediately, but that isn't true in my experience. If you break, you'll be scored down (however it does depend on the judge and if they see it 😅) Congratulations 🎉

@@RidingwithCharlotte ☺️ one other thing to think about when test riding (sorry if this is advice you don't want!), but the free walks are usually x2 marks so if you really work on those it's a good way of picking up more marks!

Absolutely correct usually any break of gait will score a 4 from your judge 🤣🤣 talking during the test can also cost you at least 2 marks every time you are heard - over time you will learn where you can sneak in a pat and a good boy where you won’t be seen or heard - well done

It’s a rule at the stables, first person at the yard has to feed all the horses

That's crazy with 30 horses! Surely if you're at the yard that early you're probably there because you have places to be, even 1 horse a minute is a solid 30 minutes work. maybe

Idk who told you that you dont lose marks for a minor break but thats a damn lie. You might get lucky and have the judge not see it but it is certianly gonna cost you.
